Good tool for two types of users.
I use this tool primarily for putting the lids back on paint cans. Saves denting the cans but closes the lid securely. Also allows you to drive tight fitting wood joints together without damaging the wood surface but with fewer blows than a rubber mallet. Nice tool for my shop when my woodworker wife hasn't borrowed it. She uses it to tighten and make adjustments to her components on her wood lathe. Glad I also bought the 21 ounce hammer so I would have one to work with when the 14 ouncer is in more delicate hands. Good tool, good price, good purchase. Good size for wood chisels and dry fitting a tight joint. That is why I bought it. I have not used it for a project yet but have "played around" with it to make sure it is what I wanted.
