Totally happy with this purchase. I had my tools in a large tool bag, and when I needed something, I had to practically dump everything out to find what I needed. NOW, my tools are organized and this rolling tool box has a LOT more room than the tool bag had. It's very nice looking. No broken parts/latches. It was well packed in the carton so the tool box didn't get thrown around in shipment. I'll be ordering a couple more cause there's a LOT of uses for this handy tool box. I need one for paint and craft supplies. I especially need another one for my gun/shooting supplies. I could even use one of these for my guitar accessories (pedals, cords, straps, etc.) I also need one for my wood working supplies (knives, saws, drills, etc.) I am amazed at how much stuff it holds. It shipped very fast, and arrived in great condition. Did I say I was HAPPY with this purchase????? YES, I did!!! It's not one of the heavier duty boxes, but if you're looking for a nice rolling tool box to store and organize your things in, this is a GOOD tool box to do that with. I will be ordering a couple more, very soon. THANK YOU Acme Tools and Wal-Mart. Very satisfied with my purchase.
[Employee of walmartcanada] I was looking for a way to organize my tools and this is an excellent way to do that. Would've been nice to have side handles to lift it for stairs, but that's not a big issue.
I purchased a week ago and I've done a few jobs already with it, and it's allowed me to bring along as it was necessary; as well as allow for efficiency with organization made easy. Fairly cheap too!!
As a small theatre company we found these useful in our costume, stage management, and carpentry shop, but alas like many other reviews the clips have broken and we are now down to one working unit... I would be happy to buy replacement clips if you could tell me where to get them . The units cant be rolled without them .... . otherwise they were magnificent.
I bought the Essential Rolling Workshop toolbox a few months ago. I really loved it, it served my purpose very well, UNTIL the plastic clips that hold the toolbox sections together have split. I can't believe a great company like Stanley would endorse such a cheap product !!! guess it all comes down to MONEY not quality !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this last summer to transport mics, cables, and misc. items. 3 individual units works out. Only problem is the side latches break too easily. Now have two that broke and has made the unit useless. Would be nice if they could be replaced or made of heavier plastic or metal. But then the lip it clamps onto would possibly be they weak link.
When I first bought this tool box I was thrilled because of its size and move ability. It seemed to be really sturdy. However, at one point when I attempted to lift just the top piece from the other 2 sections, the cover snapped right off from the back plastic hinges, leaving me holding the handle with tools falling all over the floor!!! Also, the bottom section has bulged out in the back, from what I assume is the weight of the top 2 sections. I really wanted to like this, but now it sits stationary as just another tool box
I bought 12 of these cases. They are light and easy to move around. But the light plastic clips are all defective... They have to be. No quality control would pass a component that so easily fails. Childrens toy clips have better durability. I have a bunch of cases that are unuseable because not just one, but two or more of the clips on the sides failed. With no parts to replace them every one has issues...
I bought this toolbox and I enjoy it for putting my plumbing supplies in it but the handle cracked off because it's plastic and that was very disappointing because now I have no way of locking it down. I was looking at other reviews and a lot of people seem to be complaining about the handles cracking, is there anyway to get new handles shipped to the house? STST 18631
Just bought tool box, putting tools in box and locked bottom section to mid section the lock clip broke in my hand, I hope I can get the locking clip replaced.
