Love the knife, i use the straight blade and the curved blade regularly. It nice not to have to have two in my pocket. The knife is a little thicker but well built.
Awesome utility blade, hook and strait blade
I use this extensively for roofing. The ease in shifting between a carbide-edged straight blade and a large hook blade saves me time and energy. The handle grip is easy on my large hands and the changing of blades could not be easier. Being able to carry nine blades (I carry four hook and five straight) plus the two in the ready position; always enough to get me through sever days on the roof. I would highly recommend this utility knife for anyone who needs to shift between blades. My fellow roofing friends all get their own after using mine. (My name is brightly painted on the knife so it doesn't get "lost."
I'm a Carpenter by trade but I also do roofing and a number of other jobs and this knife is my constant companion. The straight blade is amazing all around all purpose kind of blade for sharpening pencils to slicing tyvek, and the curved or claw blade slices through shingles like butter. There is a compartment in the handle which allows you to store blades for the quick change out of blades at the drop of a hat. I absolutely love this knife. It will save you time and money on the job keep one in your pouch and you will see what I mean.
Great tool--ALWAYS keep it in my toolpouch or pocket, simply because I do not know what jobs I will be in for from day to day, working in remodeling. Two blades in one knife, easy changeout, in-tool storage; could not get more conveneint. Wish I could get a half dozen more of these bad boys, but can't seem to find them in stores anymore? (Bummer because I did something to my left blade where it does not want to stay open now...) Awesome and handy tool, nonetheless; definitely impresses coworkers!
I had one of these knifes and someone helped themselves to it because it was such a great tool. So I loved this knife so much I went on a quest to find another because you could flip the cutting edges so quickly that you did not need to carry two or more knives in your tool belt. It carries the extra blades in the handle and plus the handle fits you hand so nicely that there's no fumbling around with it that you drop it or cut yourself. It makes quick work of sheetrock or roofing with a nice study pull. The blades are sharp and easy to replace. This is a great must-have tool in the tool pouch. I love this knife! The twin blades are awesome and come in handy when one blade breaks.
I agree totally with the others who have reported the inability to change out an old blade for a new one “quickly snd easily” as the package, advertising says. No manual. No other instructions online or off. Nice idea, but doesn't work as promised.
It is impossible to remove the packaging without taking the knife apart. Then it is not possible to put it back together again, because when you remove the packinging, which is totally entwined throughout the knife centre, all the parts come apart and cannot be refitted properly. There are no instructions online or with the product. Save yourself the hassle. Buy a cheaper throwaway knife. Be warned and see other online reviews.
a good idea but poor execution. One of the blades is impossible to change. since the knife is riveted cannot be disassembled and fixed.
