[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works amazingly when you need your car jumped I'm definitely keeping this in my vehicle and recommending it to friends and family because it could be a lifesaver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Stanley jump starter, and it's been a lifesaver! When my car wouldn't start, I just connected the clamps, and it worked like a charm. The reverse polarity alarm is a smart feature, and the air compressor is super handy for tires. Plus, the USB ports let me charge my phone. All I have to do is charge every month! Overall, I'm really glad I have it for peace of mind on the road.
Love this! So easy to use and works great!
I started traveling and driving out of town now. Love having this in my car and know I can jump start my car or air up a low tire without anything or anyone else. Thankfully, haven't needed it for that yet. We did air up a bike tire, and it worked well and fast. The light is super bright as well!
Gave this to my college kid who drives back and forth on country roads. He had to use it within the month and would otherwise have been stranded for some time.
My absolute all time favorite Product !! I have bought 10 Stanley Fat Maxes. Every family member has received one For birthday or Christmas!!! jumped started 15-25 cars with it pumped up 20-30 tires! checked 8 Alternators! Used 20+ tires for power outages Used 5 times for road side Emergencies With the Flashing Light!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this bumper, because it is portable, easy to use, has so many connectors for different accessories, you can connect your phone, maybe a mixer machine, it's cool this one.
I had the previous model. The jumpstart capability was something left to be desired (typically would only "help" if another vehicle didn't have the amps to jump another vehicle, I ran this in parallel). The compressor was great. I went to Sams, finally frustrated with the non-jumps. They let me swap for the newer (this) model. Everything is updated and better. I think the compressor could be a little better however as I was pumping a trailer tire up to 60 psi (this is rated for 120). The connector to the compressor internally broke (was still in the compressor hose, could see it was plastic). High heat, high pressure, more than likely made it give up. No worries, Sams swapped again for a new one. This one (so far) is working great. Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because the internal compressor connector is plastic. I know and saw it, and it's bound to break again. Thankfully, Sams is great with returns!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited to try this out and honestly it let me down a bit. I will say that the jumpstart function works perfect however the air compressor function leaves a bit to be desired. For starters the gauge reads the pressure wrong and sometimes I have to press the air button multiple times before it actually works. I was also not a fan of the upside down reading buttons as you can see in the pic.
This newer model operating position is flat. The air hose is shorter so if your valve stem is at the top you have to hold it up to get your tire aired up. It doesn't fit down in my side box like the older model I have. The light is built into the lid of the air hose cover so you can't aim it as well. It comes with a charge adapter that you have to keep somewhere. There's nowhere on the unit to store it. If you lose the cable you can't charge it and it's junk. On the older model you could plug an extension cord right into the back and charge it.
