This hammer saved me during the build of our house. I have a lot of nerve damage in my arms and using larger heavier hammers was killing me. Once I purchased this hammer, I ended up using it exclusively. It was easy to control and light weight, but I really felt like I could give it a good swing if needed. I have used this hammer for a while now and it is very comfortable in the hand. Good balance and a good gripping handle. Absorbs shocks and vibrations well. Less fatiguing than other hammers I've used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been in the trades for 17 years and had been using my last hammer for 15 of those. Needless to say I spent weeks looking at solid durable hammers with great feel. This one topped my list. I have been using it for several months now and am extremely pleased. I have used this for roof work and electrical rough ins and I am very pleased with this tool! Highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my go to hammer for doing carpentry work, especially repair work where I am not setting up a compressor/nail gun. Perfect weight at 16oz for driving nails. Heavy enough to drive substantial nails but light enough to drive finish nails without damaging the wood. My favorite part is the anti vibration handle. You can use this all day long and it is still comfortable in your hand and reduces stress on your forearms.
First off, this hammer was priced great for the design. It i built rugged and perfectly balanced. The anti-vibe really means a lot to use older contractors. It is all one piece so, no worry about the head coming off and the curve of the claw is excellent for pulling out nails as well as using as a prybar. I don't think I will ever need to purchase another hammer again(unless I lose this one...lol). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this hammer for small home projects around my newly bought house and man this thing is tough and really well built. Great job guys by the way I love all my DeWalt tools as well. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I bought this hammer after seeing a TV show, thought I would give it a try, it sure does what they say it does. I can immediately feel the difference when using it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
As a recently divorced woman, who is not very handy with tools, this has helped me with do many household tasks inside and outside! Thanks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As i am not someone who uses this tool very often but when I have DIY projects here at home, I find this hammer saves my arm and wrist from soreness I used to get when occasionally using a different brand hammer..
I purchased the Stanley 16 oz Fatmax Anti-Vibe Curve Claw nailing hammer to help with hammer grip fatigue. The anti-vibe minimizes vibration and shock. The slip resistant handle makes swinging a breeze. Knowing the Fatmax anti-vibe is made with one piece steel construction gives me piece of mind that this hammer will keep going.
