[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a 24 inch level, you can't go wrong with the Stanley Fatmax. The feature that stands out to me the most is the 'MAXEDGE' bridged center vial which allows for a continuous marking edge. A small but significant feature, this provides for more utility which is something that I value very highly when selecting tools for everyday use. The overall design and construction quality of the level is also noticeably high with the body being that of aluminum and the addition of shock absorbing end caps. Overall, this is definitely the best level of this size that I have used and it has earned a place in my gang box.

The thing takes a beating, I've dropped it outa the truck a few times now and it didn't even scratch. The thing has a texture on the sides that is almost like a metal file so it's super durable. I love the magnets as well, it'll hold its own weight on a metal stud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice 24" (box-style, sturdier than the i-beam styles) level! The 3 magnets on the bottom side are a great feature. They are super useful in plenty of scenarios, and when your situation doesn't require a magnet, they are recessed just a hair so to not alter the base's contact with your work piece. The handle is also a nice touch. And the top/horizontal spirit vial is readable from both the top-down and both sides, which turns out to be quite useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally I have a level with magnets that can hold the level. I have used a torpedo levels and sometime I need a longer level to get a better read, this one work great on appliances and along HVAC runs where I like a slight slant to prevent water buildup from condensation in the pipe. I regularly use three types of levels that I have in the picture attached, The long framing level is great for putting up walls and plumbing poles due to its length. The mid-size level is the one I used the most, the size makes it easy to use in most situations. The torpedo for small work and tight places. This level is a box level and very robust and usually can take a beating without wrecking the bubbles, add in the great shock absorbers on the end and this is one tough level for use everywhere. This one is working along with my old red Stanley, shown, but definitely became my number one as it is built well and comfortable to hold, the magnetics on one side add an option that is well worth the level.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this level for retaining wall and masonry work in my backyard and have to say this has been tremendously helpful. The build quality is very high (It slipped my hands a couple times from 3 feet height and it still didn't ding or dent). The level has good even precision and has a good grip handle too.

I have had this level for about 2 weeks now and it has replaced my other levels. Having the magnetic feature and the easy hand grips makes life so easy. I will be purchasing more variations of this level. I highly recommend!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a long time I thought that my 4' level was basically all I needed, and that my line level was good for the rest. In bigger construction projects those did the trick, and in detailed carpentry projects I wasn't really worried about level. I got this last month and have been shocked at how often I use it. Hanging a floating shelf? Putting up a coat rack? Kind of annoyed that the oil in my frying pan wasn't perfectly distributed? Setting up a new desk for my daughter since I realized she's going to still be on zoom school for another semester? This little guy has been great for all of it. I really got it just because it was 24" and why not have magnetic (they're recessed so they don't get in the way) but the magnetic feature has been nice as well. Side of my refrigerator? Side of my oven? Turns out that it is much nicer when you don't need to hold a level, now they just need to figure out a way to make one that sticks to wood. Ha! Overall, I've also been super impressed with how burly this thing is. Too many people make due with those cheap plastic toy levels and it feels great to have something a bit more sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a few different levels in my truck but no where near as awesome as one that's magnetic. I do lots of framing in commercial spaces so this is really handy to check my levels without actually holding the tool. I highly recommend this over the regular ones. It's equally useful for simple things like hanging TVs on metal tv mounts. Everyone do it yourself we and contractor should have this.

I'm disappointed with the accuracy of the two sideways bubbles; there's approximately 1° difference between them which is about 35 times the .0005/inch rating shown on its label.
