QUICK SQUARES ARE GREAT FOR JOINING AND MOLDING. Thanks, Bren
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very versatile square. I've had metal ones in the past but really like this Stanley square. It has large numbers and measurements so it's really easy to read without having to be tight on top of it. I also love that it has a black plastic vase so you can Stan it up without holding it. Really great product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When these squares first showed up in stores they didn't exactly sell like hot cakes. In fact they stayed in stores to a large extent. But after the newest generation of tradesmen started using them, they sold out on a regular basis. One thing that kept people coming back to buy was the fact that they were easily lost, & difficult to carry with the rest of the “stuff” on the tool belt/pouch(es). So, even though the square was useful, it got left behind from time to time. And now Stanley has overcome that obstacle with this High-Visibility 2-color square. So even if it's left behind, it won't STAY lost. It's easily seen even from a distance. Plus it performs just as perfectly as all models. Except that it stays with the user &/or returns at the end of the day. But not satisfied with that, Stanley also provides a wide leg with a friction-enhanced rubber-like surface. Will the fun never stop? So to summarize; the square has high visibility for finding it; it has high contrast colors (black & yellow); & it has a wide leg with a rubberized, friction-enhanced surface. It could only be improved with an on-board knife, spoon, & fork & transform into a dinner plate.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This square is for one very easy to find if you lose it! The bright yellow is very noticeable no matter where you misplace it at. Easy to use and very easy to read. You can use your pencil to make marks on square where needed and they wipe off very easy. Everything is straight forward and easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for the hi-vis printing. Excellent for low light and bright light conditions. I liked it so much, I got one for my nephew and one for my bud. They love it, also. Threw all my other speed squares away.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing square!! High visibility and great handling. Lightweight sturdy enough to use as everyday square. Does my degree cuts, common cuts and square cuts. Thin enough to use for squaring my saw on a board.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Stanley Speed Square is light weight yet very strong. It is easy to find in a tool bag with the high visibility yellow color and the contrast with black measurement markings make it easy to read. The high strength plastic is not cold to the touch like many of the metal tools.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to find because of the bright color. Has all of the standard features found in any square. Durable, and with the bright yellow color, you can use a pencil to leave a mark that will wipe off easily later.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this speed square it is awesome I can lay it down and find it easily and the markings on it as well as the degree angles are precise and is very lightweight and so far I haven't sat on it and broke it so to me is well worth every penny a man or woman May pay for it thank you very much for allowing me the privilege of owning one I will buy more👍
The thing is a massive hunk of thick nylon with a huge base stand. I can't imagine what it's thick structure would be good for except making sure the fragile plastic doesn't break in a bag of tools. Other than that, it's thickness and built in stand are a huge drawback. I get the point of the stand, but it completely nerfs the purpose of the tool because you can't use it in corners. Oops. Yeah.
