STANLEY STMT74101 239-Piece Home Repair Mixed Tool Set

I'm reviewing the Stanley STMT74101 239-Piece Home Repair Mixed Tool Set, So I've always wanted a toolkit just for myself in my home I'm always looking for my husband's tools to use and never seem to find what I need so when this toolkit came up I was very excited to get them and try them, included was a kit with wall hangers,frame wire and hooks, small nails, thumbtacks, molly's for mounting frame etc, and a few screws, all things I seem to need and never have. Included is a small hammer, needle nose pliers, a 12' tape measurer, a pair of pliers, a set of small screwdrivers, a small level around 6" good enough for hanging picture frames, 8 Hex Keys, with driver for them 8 mm hex Keys, this kit is great for me it's all I'll need in my house and it's Stanley a great name brand that has been around for years and years. The handles are made with a soft grip so as not to hurt my hands with using, it comes with a really nice carrying bag to keep everything together and in one place it's a bright yellow to be seen anywhere it is when needed. I will use this for many years to come and would suggest you get it for around the house use.

I am very happy with the Stanley STMT74101 38-Piece Home Repair Mixed Tool Set, with Bag. This is a great assortment of essential tools that you can use every day around the house and workshop. Plus, I am a fan of the Stanley brand and feel like these are quality tools. The tools included are 12-foot measuring tape, small hammer, 6-inch long nose pliers, 6-inch slip-joint pliers, 4 mini screwdrivers, 1/4-inch drive spinner handle, 10 1/4-inch drive specialty bits, Torpedo level, full picture hanging kit, 8 SAE hex keys, and 8 mm hex keys. The bag is very roomy and can hold many more tools than provided. One suggestion I would make in the design of the bag would be to add pockets or some type of holder(s) inside the bag. There is mesh webbing on the outside of the bag so you can place tools that you need for a project there while you work, which is nice. This little bag of tools is perfect for those small projects around the house. I just hung two pictures using these tools.

I picked this to do my review on because I can really use this . Every time I need a tool its out to the garage . I've asked for my own tools nothing .So I got them myself because I trusted and have heard of the Stanley name . This is a 38 piece tool set with vinyl bag in a nice yellow so if someone uses my stash I will know . The only thing I really don't like is the hammer is small and light weigh. You will receive. soft side tool bag 7 0z hammer 12 ft measuring tape long nosed pliers 6" slip joint pliers 6" mini screwdrivers 1/4 " drive spinner handle torpedo level hex keys also in this set is a plastic box with 12 little trays that are filled with goodies. Keep this for your self like i did or give as a gift ,Either way you wont be dissatisfied. Ive already used a screwdriver and the level putting up pictures in my front room .

I love Stanley Tools. It is a very good brand and they usually live up to their hype. I have had quite a few Stanley hand tools in the past 35 years. Unfortunately, other friends and family members love them too. That means that when I go to get a hand tool, chances are it's no longer available! I'm always having to replace a 'lost' tool as usually whomever 'borrows' it usually doesn't give it back right away, then 'forgets' that it doesn't actually belong to them! I was psyched to have a chance to review this set of tools, the "Stanley STMT74101 239-Piece Home Repair Mixed Tool Set". I've had the opportunity to use the set several times since receiving it. I am especially loving the nice tool bag that the tools came in. Not only is it roomy enough to add a few tools of my own, it is soft enough to fit in a cabinet, a locked cabinet! I am determined that this set stays complete and it's bits and pieces stay together. I know the tools will last for a good long time, as most of their predecessors have in the past.

The Stanley home tool kit have a very sturdy rip stop nylon tool bag. It is able to be closed with a heavy-duty double nylon. Two reinforced nylon handles close with a very secure Velcro closure. The kit has a number of high quality Stanley tools. There is a 7 oz. claw hammer. It has a metal handle with a rubber grip. It is not large enough for building projects, but handy for smaller around the home use. There is a slip joint pair of 6-inch regular pliers with a cushioned rubber grip. There is also a 6-inch pair of needle nosed pliers with wire cutters and cushioned rubber grip. Both are of better quality than most. There is a Stanley 1/4-inch driver handle with a comfortable rubber grip. This handle comes with 10 bits that include 3 slotted screw drivers and 2 hex bits. While they will do most jobs, I would prefer separate screw drivers. There is a handy 12 inch bubble level of the torpedo type. There are two sets of hex keys, both inch size and metric. Unfortunately they only go up to about 1/4-inch. I would prefer they went up to 3/8 inch. The final tool is a 12-foot Stanley measuring tape. It has a lock mechanism to keep it extended. In addition to the tools there is a plastic case that includes picture hanging wire and hangers, small nails and screws, tacks, pushpins and hollow wall anchors. Another nice idea was to include 4 miniature screw drivers to tighten up eye glasses. This kit is a nice basic set of tools that can come in very hand for around the house use. A nice housewarming gift for someone's first house.

I bought this tool set about 4 or so years ago for myself, because a friend recommended. This is a great tool bag for at home repairs. I love it! This purchase was for my daughter. It has all things you need for repairs, etc around the house! She loves it also. I highly recommend this product.

I received this bag of tools as part of a reviewer program. I really did not know what to expect. What I got is what I consider a good starter set of tools that an apartment dweller or casual user might find complete. It consisted of a universal screwdriver with separate bits, four very small drivers, two Phillips and two straight bladed that are suitable maybe to fix a pair of wire rim glasses. Additionally the kit contained a nice pair of pliers and a needle nose with side cutter. There was also a small hammer, a measuring tape and a small level. Included were a set of both metric and SAE inch based hex key sets. Finally was a plastic box of assorted wall anchors, a small spool of picture wire and picture mounting hooks and some brad nails. It appeared to me that this would be very useful and complete kit for hanging pictures. Certainly not anything heavy as I doubt that other than the pliers these tools are NOT heavy duty. I wish there would also be a small crescent wrench included, but there was not. However all came in a sturdy cloth zipper bag that would easily contain at least twice the amount of tools that came in the bag, so you could keep and store additional tools in the same bag. Overall as I said, a good starter or apartment owners tool set. I am going to give this set to my daughter and she will find them useful I am sure.

Looked like a great set but I never received it. Said it was delivered then returned. My money was refunded immediately.

Normally I have been totally satisfied with products, but this item states that this is a 293 piece work pkg. It gives the impression that this is a great collection of work tools! But what it is in actually is a counting of each screw and nail which accounts for the 293 parts. There are very few tools and many screws, pins, and nails. Really a false picture of what it is supposed to be.
