I like the all metal tip. I can use the side of the tip to smooth out glue on jogging shoe outsoles. Some of them have plastic on the sides of the tips, making this impossible. Also great for gluing book bindings and general purpose gluing.
I bought this glue gun a few weeks ago and it is a very good product. I have used it several times an it is easy to use and works very well. It is just the right size for crafting or repairing things around the house. I am very happy with my purchase.
Great glue gun. I had one before for years and I use mine a lot. Lasted a long time. Finally had to replace it.Not heavy. Easy to grip.
Great service and product
I brought many glue guns over the years and all have failed... except my Stanley glue gun. It's been working fine for at least 10 years. I have used it for many projects from hobbies to projects around the home. A true Stanley reliable product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
very Nice Products for Stanley .I use last three Year nice Works.
After five years of designing prototypes for my job as an industrial designer, I can't imagine doing my job without this hot glue gun. The thing about prototyping is that you're working out how a product will assemble and look, so durability isn't always considered. When something goes awry, hot glue is your quick and sturdy fix. I've burnt through several guns throughout my career but this one has outlasted them all. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This glue gun is a piece of junk don't waste your money. It heats up fine but doesn't feed the glue. I can't understand how the designers expected to work, there is no pressure on the stick. I would give it a zero rating but won't allow you to do it so one star.
