Stansport Folding Camp Stool

I love this stool. I walk my dogs in the woods and have rigged up a strap so I can carry it over my shoulder to rest on it at the half way point. I am heavier than I would like, but the stool holds me and is a good height so I can get up off it without help. It is super lightweight and I barely know I am even carrying it. I have also taken it to the grocery store during long lines (Covid-19) and have been grateful to have it.

what I had expected

This stool is exactly what I expected to get for less than $25. It is a sturdy little stool that I use to put my feet up on whe I lounge on my patio. I wouldn't recommend it for sitting on unless you weigh less than 100lbs as that might stress or break it. Good for a foot stool or for kids.

Weighing around a pound, the Stansport Camp Stool (Aluminum) is considerably lighter than the Coleman Rambler Stool & would be a handy thing to carry on a long hike. It arrived quickly (after only 3 days, in fact) &, since I opted to pick it up at the store, I didn't have to pay for shipping. I weigh around 160 lbs & it has no trouble at all supporting me (though, like the Coleman, some may find it a bit narrow to sit on). The Stansport Camp Stool is relatively inexpensive &, in my opinion, it's a good buy.

Seems to be well made but it is laughably short. Please include how high from the ground a person would sit when it's set up. I estimated based on the listed dimensions and clearly didn't estimate correctly because I felt like I was about a foot off the ground. Will be returning to get something taller.

So cheap it broke as soon as we sat down on it. It should be called a foot stool only. Not strong enough to sit on the aluminum can quality legs. Total waist of $14 in this economy!
