Stansport Light-Duty Rip-Stop Tarp 8' x 10' - Brown

I bought this tarp to use underneath the Coleman three man tent we purchased for a scout camp out. I bought it specifically a little larger than the base of the tent and positioned it so the excess was in front as a doormat. It worked perfectly. It does not come with tent stakes to pin it to the ground so those must be purchased separately. It wasn't necessary to pin it to the ground on the back or sides of the tent but in front of the tent as a doormat to keep it down it needed to be pinned.

I purchased this Rip stop tarp as a 1 time use for camping. I used it to put under the tent to help stop wear on the tent and make it a little more comfortable. Once I saw where we were camping I was sure I'd be throwing this tarp away after 5 days use. (The campsite was filled with little sharp jagged pebbles) To my surprise this thing lasted, and still looks new, I will be using this baby multiple times for various occasions. I like the fact it has secure reinforced grommet holes throughout to secure to various objects and locations. A great deal and great service. Thanks Walmart

i needed a couple of cheap, medium weight, dark-colored tarps to **** off grass/undergrowth in my yard. this product fit the bill

I've been using all types of tarps, and this tarp is pretty good quality. It lasts quite a while even strong wind. Looks cheap material but it really last long time. I like brown color too.

I ordered 48 tarps to place on temporary fencing. These were perfect for the application. One thing that I thought was... crazy... the tarps arrived in 48 separate boxes. I have no clue what the shipping costs were, but seriously, 48 boxes for these little tarps was crazy. Walmart... save on shipping, save on boxes and save me having to deal with 48 fairly large cardboard boxes.

It's a nice tarp in brown. Gromets appear stable. 4 stars insted of 5 is because of slower than Walmats usuall fast shipping.

I recommend this product for light duty around the house. LIGHT DUTY Not good in UV/Sun Does Tear/Rip easy

It's a little thinner than I'd anticipated, but so far it has held up fine. I've been using this for the past few months to cover an animal enclosure and it has withstood wind, rain, ice and snow.

I AM RETURNING THE TARPS I PURCHASED BECAUSE THEY TAPED A LABEL ON THE TARP WHICH WHEN REMOVED ALSO REMOVED THE BROWN PORTION OF THE TARP. NOT SURE WHY THEY WOULD DO THIS BUT EVEN WITH EXTREME CAUTION IT STILL REMOVED THE BROWN PORTION OF THE TARP.

As I opened the package, I noticed that the label had been attached to the tarp using a piece of scotch tape (presumable by the manufacturer). When I went to remove the tape, a large section of the tarp's outer layer was peeled away by the tape. This left about a 1" square area of clear tarp exposed where the tape had ripped away the outer colored layer (which was brown). This was my first impression of the tarp. After that, I unfolded the tarp and noticed how thin it was despite it being labeled and sold as 'regular duty'. This is certainly not a 'regular duty' tarp if you plan to use it for anything other than temporarily covering something in the rain. I have never in my life bought a tarp that was so thin. I use my tarps as grown covers and as normal tarps. I could never use this tarp for a ground cover since it is so thin. It would have a hole in it in no time. I will be returning this.
