They look like they're constructed very well. Unfortunately I ordered the wrong size. I'll be ordering the right size for my oil lamps soon. You never know when you'll need them. I haven't burned them so I can't comment about that.

Keep a Light on
I ordered extra wicks and lamp oil just in case the power grid does that thing we're all concerned about. These are good quality and will last long.

Oil lamp wick
I've never seen lamps that would take this tiny wick. I never would have thought that I needed to double check the size description for what I consider to be a normal oil lamp.
