It did its job
What can I say? My Check Engine light went on, I changed my fuel tank cap to this one, and the Check Engine light didn't come on any more (I had to erase the light first, but it didn't come on after that). btw you can purchase a cheap Check Engine code reader for about $20.

Inexpensive
Looked at auto parts stores on line and brick and mortar, asking price 3 times higher than this one. Seems to fit just fine. Doing other work on the vehicle so: I ain't tested it on road to see if it stops the PO440 code that triggers the check engine light yet.
