Perfect size Sturdy Binder for tax paperwork

I thought this was exactly what I wanted/needed a binder which I could label from the outside for easy reference. The front cover of the binder was fine with a clear sheet behind which I slid the custom cover. The side panel however did not contain a sheet behind which I could slide an identification.

I use the 2 inch binder for scrapbooking each year. It is easy to open and close. I make a cover paper that can be easily seen from the front. Also put a year on the end panel. White is my choice. Over the years I have done a yearbook for each of my kids with artwork school papers etc. It is easy to fill and store.

Once they are filling and you open or if closed and jostled The plastic folders can slip out at one end and then are hard to put back in.It is east to push the place they connect open by accident. We are using 15 to copy and place 2-4 pages Of letters in the plastic covers written from 1942-45.Major work for younger family members. I wish this were not so easy to have happen.

I switched to these from a more expensive brand and am disappointed. I use the spine area beneath the plastic to insert labels so I can quickly identify one binder from another when they are sitting on my shelf. The Staples brand binder has a label that is placed on the plastic of these spines and does not remove cleanly - and so I can't use the area to insert labels and the binders look dirty. I'll be switching back to the more expensive brands.....
