Very happy with 3 hole punch printing paper
Saves a lot of time!!
I'm creating a book of family history for each of my 3 grandchildren. I got 3 binders and 3-hole punched copy paper from Staples to do the project. I enjoy shopping at Staples because the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the store is open and well-lit.
As an avid journal writer and sometimes-college-student I've used this mid-quality paper for several years. It's not heavy weight or super durable but it's decent quality at an affordable price. And it works in printers and scanners. I use at least a ream per year of this paper just for writing my daily journal longhand. it takes roller ball ink well with only the occasional bleed through. Since I don't use any other kind of pen I can't speak to other inks. When I take the occasional college course I'm happy to use this paper for all note taking. The only concern that I have -- and as a journal writer it does matter -- is that I do not think that this paper is archival. For most people's applications that would never be a concern. But for me it would be reassuring to know that it won't turn brittle or yellow with age in coming decades. But hey it's not art paper and I'm not paying a high price for 100% cotton or linen paper!
So convenient to have those three holes already in the paper! Good quality paper. I just ran about 1 500 sheets through my machine and they worked as expected. Staples' next day delivery was the reason I bought this - they had the paper on my desk before I arrived at work the next morning!
I always go to Staples for all my computer and office needs. I have been putting together a booklets; the three-holed paper that I purchased at Staples is great for the job. The paper is firm enough for printing on both sides. Staples also caries the covers necessary for the booklets.
I had never bought paper that was drilled for three hole binders before; but I print stuff out to put in binders. Finally broke down and bought it with three holes. I love it don't use my punch anymore don't have to try and find it cause someone took it and did not replace it.
These 3-holed reams of paper saved me a lot of time putting together 12 binders with 400+ pages. Otherwise I would have had to punch 3-4 pages at a time to accomplish the task. The sheets are clear and bright and received ink without any smudges. Will definitely use them again when needed.
Check to make sure your printer is compatible with 3 hole punched paper. I bought thinking it would be uniform and save me time but instead I played with the printer (Epson Stylus NX510) for a half hour wondering why it kept “jamming” despite nothing being stuck. I will be able to use it with other printers/copiers but was disappointed that I had wasted time and money trying to get it to feed and print.
Nothing wrong I'm sure with this expensive nature eradicating substance. I decided to punch my own holes as it became too complicated assembling a 100+ page presentation with the chance of printing on the wrong side. I would have slowed down production too much.
