A letter size envelope would not be large enough and the full page envelopes are too big. This is just the right size for a 1/2 sheet of paper.

Sturdy envelopes with a clasp. Punched 3 holes and am using in a binder for documents. Will be used over and over.

The stores used to have this size they no longer do.. and the size they now carry 6 1/2 X 9 1/2 is too narrow.. you cant fold paper in half and fit it in the enevelope..so i had to order the correct size online.. not sure why this size is no longer avail in stores.

I was searching for envelopes to hold name tags for my classes. The 6-1/2x9's were too small and the 9x12's were too big so I was thrilled to find this in between size. The quality is the same. I'm very pleased.

Staples is the cheapest in price when looking at all the other big-box stores for this same product. Would you expect an inferior product? Maybe but not here. This is equal in quality to the name brand units at twice the price.

Just like most people have already commented; 6X9's are too small and 9X12 are too big. These are just right.

The envelope that I was looking for was probably twice as heavy as this envelope; but not having the product on hand I was just hoping this envelope would be what I was looking for. I am a bowling league secretary; and I use these for collecting weekly monies from each of the teams in the league. I use a heavy clear plastic (Staple binder product) to cut to 5" x 7 1/2" and using your 2" clear tape I attach the cut clear plastic above to the envelopes which allows me to return awards or other league items to the teams as needed. Heavier envelopes would be better but this will do for now. Thanks.
