Staples Cork Bulletin Board Black Frame 4' x 3' (ST62834)

I wanted a bulletin board to post up on the wall behind my computer desk. This fills the bill very nicely. My only complaint is that the super who installed it for me couldn't figure out how to use the enclosed brackets. He was able to use his own tools however.

This is a simple bulletin board but it's great quality and worth spending a little extra for such a durable aluminum frame. Mounting instructions are reasonably clear and simple. The brackets allow you to securely install on imperfect walls. You will need to drill into the aluminum frame for the bottom brackets and instructions don't say what size bit to use but try 1/8” and go slow. A standard wood drill bit will work.

The Staples Standard Durable Cork Bulletin Board Aluminum Frame is a fine product with clear mounting instructions with one exception. Step 11 of the mounting instructions states: "Insert screw D through each bracket F and into pilot hole in frame. Tighten firmly." There were no pilot holes in the frame and there was no indication in the mounting instructions on what size drill bit was needed. I drilled two pilot holes with a 1/8" drill bit and successfully installed the two screws identified as "D" in the instructions. In the end the product was installed properly and works fine.

I shopped around for a cork board this size or larger and couldn't find anything more appealing. This was a great deal shipped fast and had easy hanging brackets. I'm very happy with the product. It will be used as a mudroom catch-all for family items/ kids things from school.

The bulletin board is very nice and appears as advertised. It's well-made was well-packaged and came with the necessary hardware. The directions are printed in microscopic size; my eyes are perfect when corrected by my eyeglasses and I absolutely needed a magnifying glass to read the included directions.

Product takes time to mount on the wall. Pushing pins in to mount items causes the board to flex and in some areas of the board it is not that easy to push mounting pins in. Once the pins are in though they are not coming out which is what I was looking for. It looks good mounted on the wall.
