Looking downward is not good for the neck and this document stand is at an eye level so that I wont get a crook in my neck. It is sturdy and holds documents in place. Another perfect fit for me.

This was perfect for holding copy in my home studio

Was tricky to put together but in the end figured it out and works well.

This has been a lifesaver for me as a data entry specialist. It can hold up to 15-20 pages and the slide ruler is fantastic!

This thing turned out to be a lifesaver doing taxes this year. Have hundreds of buy and sell stock entries this holder was just what I needed to keep from searching for the line item I was working on. Would have been 5 stars but the bar that slides up and down did not stay straight and was loose at the top and bottom of the holder. This was due to the holder being curved. Looser at the top and bottom good in the middle.

This copy holder was the only one available at the Staples store when I visited. While it does the job adequately I'm not thrilled with it. The curved design in my opinion is nothing more than a marketing ploy. It does not make anything easier or better. The entire piece has a cheap feel to it. Of special note is the clip at the top to hold papers. This clip is not the kind you pinch to open - you have to lift it up and slide the papers underneath the clip. I am elderly and this style clip is almost impossible to manage with my stiff arthritic fingers. Consequently I just prop my papers on the stand not using the clip most of the time. While I'm not 100% happy with this purchase I will say it's better than not having anything at least.

The clipboard itself is sturdy and effective but the adjustable clear magnifying clip which was one of the primary draws of the product is disappointing. Because of the curve when we try to place the clip at the very top of the clipboard it slides down a couple inches and won't stay put making it difficult to track any content that is higher up on a page. (This is especially true of papers longer than Letter size). Even further down on the clipboard the clip is still pretty finicky. It definitely doesn't accomplish a steady reading/tracking like we were hoping. If you don't need the clip the clipboard itself is a great choice.

The bottom was too small. I cant fit any papers due to the fact that the bottom has no room. The other one I had about a half inch. This one has a very tiny bottom along with the bottom's width is on the small side

the back stand breaks off but was able to reattach (so far). Really light construction and not quality. The hand that moves up and down gets stick mid way through because of the curve (and because it is really light I don't use it below the mid point because I'm afraid of breaking the back).

The desktop copy holder serves the purpose for which I needed it but its construction is not very sturdy and must be used quite gingerly to keep from breakage. The plastic is thin and appears inexpensive but the price given the item's construction is not. For some reason the stars function on this review is not working but had it been I would have rated it a 2. Had the price been lower perhaps I would have given it a three.
