Staples file folders are just as reliable as the name brand products. However Staples brand are not only reliable but 100% recycled and much cheaper than the others. I have never had a problem with the folders ripping at the top or the metal brackets braking off which I have had that happen with other brands.
I really like it. I can fit more documents in the file cabinet and more documents in the folders.I have more space in file cabinet. I need more legal folder but Staples didn't have any more. They had the regular legal size folders but not like the ones I bought.
I have used Pendaflex Folders my whole work career of 40 years and also in my home filing system. It is very functional looks neat and tidy and holds those extra thick files in an orderly fashion. They just don't have any competition as far as I am concerned. Our office personnel swore by them.
I bought my first box of these files over six months ago and I just brought my second box. The quality and price are great when compared to a well know brand and they are eco friendly. What more can you ask for? My first purchase of a Staples branded product but it won't be my last.
I have looked and looked for the best hanging file folders to the point of distraction. I just was not able to find decent quality products at an affordable price ... or when I did the shipping costs would break the bank. Then I found Staples recyslced hanging folders online and I can't tell you how pleased I am. Not only are they of great quality and hansome too but the shipping cost was minicule and the time it took for them to arrive seemed almost instantaneous. I strongly recommend anyone looking for hanging file folders buy these recyled items from Staples and help save the planet in the process.
Although hanging files don't seem like an important part of a business they are vital for my day to day operations. With these particular hanging files I have not and any issues. Thy are very reliable and have not faltered. I have used other brands in the past and noticed that the hanging bar has come detached from the folder and slides back and forth making what should be an easy filing job turn into a nightmare trying to finagle a detaching folder with one hand while not loosing you're place in the drawer with your other hand. With the Staples 100% Reinforced Hanging File Folders I have never run into this issue and it has made my daily filing run much smoother.
I like the Avery hanging File Folders. I have used them before, that is why I ordered them again.
These hanging folders may do the trick for the short term but could and should be so much better. The edges of the folder are "folded over" each of the aluminum (?) hanging rails. Each fold is sealed (or is it?) by a smear of cheap glue. The glue isn't strong enough to seal the deal. The more you access a folder the less the glue adheres. After all how long can cheap glue stick? Before long the fold peels apart and the folder - along with its contents - drop. leaving the rails hanging all alone buck naked. Bottom Line: Spending a couple of bucks more on a "brand name " might be the way to go in the long run if you want your hanging files to keep on hangin'.
I had hoped to find hanging files which were better constucted than my old ones which FELL APART! These seem to be just as flimsy although the "reinforced" on the box is why I bought them. Does an extra strip of tape at the bottom constitute reinforcement? Disappointed but using the files. DY
I had to use a knife to cut the slots to insert the tabs nearly none of them fit out of the box the plastic tab was too big to fit into the slots cut on the top of the folders. Furthermore there were fewer tabs than folders which seems like a poor choice. The folders themselves are fine and work well it's just the tabs are not good. I gave up and used adhesive labels instead of the included tabs which are not ideal since you can't see them without moving the next folder out of the way. If you don't care what you put in your folders and feel you never will in the future these would be the ideal folders for you! Just remember you put your important documents in the green recycley-colored one.
