[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Opening our pool this season we were new to using this product. I will admit I am skeptical to putting new cleaners in our pool in fear it will throw off the balance off everything- it's just a fear in ground pool owners have. Nonetheless, this worked well, and it didn't throw off any changes to the balance of our chemicals. That was an extra bonus. The sides of our pool was gleaming. I would highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried Star Brite Home Pool Waterline Cleaner. This cleaner comes in a plastic bottle with screw on spray nozzle. The tip of the nozzle can be turned for a spray or direct stream of the product. This bottle contains 32 fluid oz of cleaner. This product was designed to remove dried on dirt, scum and oily stains. It can be used on fiberglass, rubber, vinyl, plastic, tile, plaster, aggregate, carpet and fabric as well as polyester liners and other types of PVC materials. I used to clean the top rail of my vinyl soft side pool as well as the interior water line. I wiped the area down with a damp cloth first to remove as much dirt as I could then sprayed on the product in a small area. I let it sit for 30 seconds before scrubbing with a brush I use to clean the pool liner. I then used a clean damp cloth to wipe the product off the cleaned area. I'm really impressed on how it lightened the water line stain and cleaned grime off the top rail.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this for the first time today and I could not believe the results!! We had red clay stains on our pool liner that I figured would be impossible to get out, but a spritz of this magic spray and a light swipe with a sponge and its all gone!! You will not regret getting this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my honest review! I absolutely love this spray. We ended up emptying our pool last year so we could move it and never covered it back up so there was a bunch of gunk on the bottom of it so we sprayed this and scrubbed it a little bit and the gunk came right off!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product made opening our pool a lot easier this year. It cut down on the scrubbing that we needed to do after the pool sat all winter. It was very easy to use. Just spray it on and wipe the dirt and scum away. I will definitely be using this every year.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Southern California,I have years of sun baked stains and grime on my pool tiles. My pool is in direct sun all day and my pool tiles are a light peach color. I have tried many different products to remove this "bathtub ring" over the years. Very few products have worked, some barely showed an improvement. While this product did not completely remove all the stains, it did make a big difference. One of the better products that I have used for cleaning the pool tiles. I waited until the water was low and worked on small sections at a time. Left the product on for 1 min., then wiped with a scrub sponge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My parents have a pool so we tried this cleaner on it and it proved to be quite effective except it doesn't clean off everything. The product does need to sit on for a little while and be scrubbed off with a little extra effort.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have yet to find a product that removes waterlines without scrubbing and unfortunately this product is the same. Does it work and is it effective? -Yes. However, you do need to use some elbow grease to remove the water stains. I find this is simply necessary-a lot of scrubbing. But, I found this to be easy to use and comparable to other types of cleaners. The bottle and sprayer itself worked efficiently. I do recommend this product as it makes the cleaning easier.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm giving three stars just because they made it seem like you can simply spray and wipe off. A bit misleading. I used this on my pool before we filled it completely full for the season and it worked pretty well but I did take like a magic eraser and had to scrub a bit for the tougher spots. My pool is an above ground pool so it worked great on the vinyl liner but I'm not sure how well it would work on grout and tile.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This helps with removing some scum and lightening the water line but it really takes a lot of elbow grease and scrubbing to get anywhere with it. It works, but I wouldn't call it as effective as the directions lead me to believe it will be. It didn't just wipe away after leaving on for a minute. Bleach could probably do the same thing
