Star Trek Voyager: The Complete Series (DVD)

This is the fourth series in the Star Trek universe. It follows the crew of the starship Voyager that is trapped in the Delta Quadrant 75,000 light years from Earth and they can only depend on themselves to get back home. They meet new species and from time to time get a little closer to home. Each member of the crew becomes part of the ship and learn how their lives are better for it. Each adventure gives the crew a sense of exploration and even get to learn more than any other human about the quadrant. They even get help from an unlikely person to make contact with Starfleet and even helps to get them home. They make it back in the most usual way. This series is a good addition to any collection

I can't get specific about story lines, but I found this series to be one of the best shows I've ever watched. I waited eagerly for the next episode every week. Great cast and interesting content. I have been watching and waiting for the price to get reasonable and it finally did. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

It's the complete box set of my favourite 90s Star Trek, I have no complaints. At the end of each season there are special features including some hidden little bits. The only complaint about the set is the same one for pretty much all Star Trek box sets. The actual case is terrible. I moved my discs into a case with sleeves to make it easier to access the discs.

This chapter in the Trek saga is groundbreaking with good back story and logical progression of plot and character development. Captain Janeway must integrate two crew elements into one functional cohesive crew. The ragtag, high strung and volatile Maquis rebels who distrust Starfleet due to the tenuous and sometimes outright hostile and seemingly Gestapo relationship that defines the Federation-Cardassian alliance. Her own well disciplined and compliant Starfleet crew members must learn to cope and function with not only the Maquis being among them and being trapped in the Delta quadrant which is home to the Borg collective and a host of rugged specie interactions in which there is no peace,protection or support from the mighty Federation. Janeway is tough, compassionate, shrewd, principled and capable of great leadership while allowing her femininity to remain well defined and intact. Bravo

three discs came broken. cracked broken and not watchable. Avoid buying this from here!!

I received a counterfeit copy. I hadn't watched the show yet and had only checked that the disks all worked. There were issues with one disc, but they sent out a replacement. Turns out both the original box and the replacement are counterfeit. What tipped me off is that I recently received another box set from the same seller, Modern Family The Complete Series, that I could tell was counterfeit because I already have the first few seasons on DVD to compare it against. In the counterfeit set all the DVDs are single layer instead of dual layer and the extra compression to make them fit on a smaller disc is obvious. When I went back to check my copy of Star Trek Voyager all the discs in that set are also single layer. Upon closer inspection the files on the disc were created in 2023 even though this set was original released in 2017 and then rereleased in 2020. The discs also lack copy protection, so are clearly not legitimate. Since everything I have been sent so far by CAN US Supplies (Canadian) has turned out to be counterfeit I would recommend avoiding this seller for now.

I have ordered this twice. The first time there was a dvd loose in the case. It was marked up bad. The 2nd one the box was damaged and so was the case. So I sent them both back.
