I'm always a sucker for the $20 Lego sets and this one, like many, aims to please. This is a nice re-make of the Episode 3 V-wing but with more features. Set in the expanded universe this ship is deco-ed with Black Imperial markings and dons a classic TIE pilot (new sculpt) as it's driver. Lots of moving parts and even a NEW R2 unit minifigure make this mid size ship a must have. Really good for multiple models as army builders.
I love this set. Altho I got it at toysrus because of a gift card, but if there wasn't a gift card, i would've bought it at walmart. The set comes with a awesome astromech, with I really like. Also, it caomes with a imperial pilot. The pilot has a lot of detail all over. I really like this set and it has a lot of playability.
You made the purchase at any time. This was a Gift and my son he was so happy to have this lego he is a fan of Lego Star wars,
My son saw this Lego and really wanted it! I saw the same Lego at a certain toy chain for almost twice the cost! I ordered 2 of these - one for my son, the other for his friend who was having a birthday. I was able to pick it up from my local store just 15 minutes later! They both love it. My son always plays with it. This is just a really great buy for the cost. Star Wars Legos are just normally so costly and the cheaper ones are really small. If you want a Lego that gives you a good size for little money - this one is the way to go!
we had star wars lego xwing before and the wings kept falling out. my 5 year old did not enjoy that xwing. so we tried this one when it was discounted at 15$ he loves it. the wings are definitely more stable and it does fold + change the R2Q2 is nice add on and the emperial starfighter pilot is well detailed (comes with a gun) overall very nicely made product. fyi son built this without my help. (he just turned 5 in dec 2011)
Perfect for the Lego enthusiast. A gift to my 9 year old grandson. He shouted out, "Oh boy, just what I wanted!" He had this put together in no time. You can never go wrong with the name of Lego printed on the box.
My grandson loves Star Wars AND Lego. So this was the perfect gift. It can be found in other stores but WalMart, as usual, had the best price. Thanks WalMart
Great gift for a pre-teen or teen.
My boys (turning 6 and 8) got birthday money and this is the set my 8 year old picked out. He has enjoyed it! My only 'issue' with the modern Lego sets is that they are so specific, a thick booklet is required just to put it together and nothing but what is pictured can really be made....
Lego's are always fun and very cool when complete, but at these prices from Walmart it is even more so.
