This item will make an excellent gift for the Star Wars fan in your life. It's very simple to use, and a waffle recipe with 2 cups of flour will make ten waffles with this unit. The size is sufficient to also use to make waffles out of refrigerated cinnamon rolls. Note: Waffle batter is NOT the same as pancake batter. Waffle batter is thicker and richer. Pancake batter will make dry, flat waffles. The size of the finished waffle is sufficient for making waffle breakfast sandwiches. Can definitely use for making stuffing waffles after Thanksgiving! Caution: The handle area gets hot. I found using the tip of silicone tongs useful.

very impressed with this waffle maker. it heats nicely and turns out some good waffles...with a mandalorian design on one side. clever and cute. this cooks up very small waffles. I knew that buying it though. they are only 4 inches big. if using for adults, this can be pretty time consuming one at a time. I cook 2 and make a sandwich with egg and cheese so it's perfect for my intended use. it would be even better if it had removable plates and different designs for making more than waffles but it was worth the investment.

It was easy to start using obviously and the clean up easy, was surprised that it didn't stick and that it came out easy every time. I didn't like the print outcome but that's not really a big deal and they only took about 1 min .

This is a nice little waffle maker but it's more of a "half pancake/half waffle" type deal. Cooking time is about 3 to 5 minutes depending on the thickness of your batter and how much you put in the maker itself. Cleaning this is very easy and the griddle gives a good browning to your waffles.

This mini waffle maker makes 4 inch waffles. It's a great way to bring a family together in the mornings to make waffles! I recommend it for kids or anyone who likes Star Wars. Out of the box, I wiped the waffle plates with a wet paper towel and dried. Then, I plugged it in and put a little butter on both of the plates. I quickly poured 1/4 cup pancake/waffle batter from a mix. I poured it into the bottom plate and shut the top. It takes about 3-4 minutes to make these cute waffles. Don't put too much pancake batter in because it will pour out of the sides. Unplug it when you are finished and let it cool. I wiped the plates with warm water and it cleaned easily. Don't use metal utensils or it will scratch. I only gave it 4 stars because I would have liked the waffle plates to have come out to be washed.

We liked the concept and design, but each waffle took so long to cook. The design print looked great when finished, although they did not turn out crispy or fluffy inside. The unit itself is easy to clean, but for the previous forementioned reasons I'm not sure if or when we would use it again.
