Starfrit 092968-002-0000 Deli Slicer

I mainly use this slicer for slicing homemade bread, and it works very well. The slices are even and the thickness is adjustable. I like that it's manual, which makes it feel safer to use. It's also easy to clean and store. I would definitely recommend it for this purpose.

This is a great slicer! Best thing since sliced bread! I bought it to slice bread made in my bread maker to get perfect sliced loaves! Would definately recommend this product!

Bought one yesterday primarily for slicing bread. It works great. I have a small kitchen, and the fact that it folds up for storage was a big selling point.

This was a hard one to evaluate. It does cut the different sizes, however instead of using the plate to guide what I was cutting I used my hand instead to move the product forward. It does though cut the meat or cheese in a nice even width. It does scare me getting to close to the blade using my hand and will revert back to the guide. Fore the most part it would knock out the product though. I will admit that over time I have a feeling I will work out all the ins and outs of the machine. It is still faster then by hand and as I said it produces clean even cuts. Perhaps I should have waited until I used it more to get a more accurate review. Regardless I would purchase it again I believe.

Not a good product. Slicing disk is to flimsy. It bends under small pressure making uneven cut. The backing plate that controls the thickness also moves, changing the setting in lock position. I do not recommend it.

Shipped with thumb guard damaged. WM only offered option to refund vs replace. Had to re-order elsewhere. Product is made for home use. Although, it is mostly plastic.

The Starfrit is well designed, however I received the product tossed into a box with loose parts rattling around. The main parts are attached by two bolts. One bolt and one nut were loose in the package. There is no way for me to attach them due to the design. Without the second bolt the slicer is slightly unstable and the blade touches the pusher. Must return.

Very poor. The slicer side wall, which is supposed to hold the meat/cheese is not strudy enough, it will tilt and move and the result is an uneven cut (thin from below and thick from above). Also the slicer wont stand still, even after fixing it in place using the suction device. Finally, honestly, you will do a better job with a quality knife. Don't wast your time. I wont say your money, as its cheap. Cheap in price and cheap in quality.

Horrible. Does not work properly at all. Thickness only starts at 3, moves all over the place despite trying to lock in place, slider keeps coming off. Waste of money.
