It is just what I needed and right on time for my apples.

I couldn't believe that it peeled each apple (small or large) in seconds. The apples were easy to load and remove. The item doesn't look sturdy, but it held up and peeled at least nearly 75 apples and it is still working. I almost can't wait until next year when my apple trees start producing. It also comes with extra blade(s) but it wasn't necessary to change the blade because after peeling my apples it still was sharp enough to peel more apples. I have one that cores, peels and slices, but in order to just peel the apple it becomes very difficult to figure out what part to add or remove so I bought the Starfrit Apple Peeler instead and I'm glad I did.

It works extremely well. Very thin slice of the peel, saving you the most apple. The peel cuts in one continuous pass which is nice. Get a coring tool to help process a bunch of orchard picked apples. It's pretty smart engineering in this thing. Keeps going and going too. Processed over 200 apples with this and the first blade is still sharp enough for another 600 ish (guessing)...it comes with a 2nd replacement blade. For the price, you'd buy another one anytime anything broke or you needed a new blade.

This apple peeler is the best I have tried. It's fast, cleans up well, and takes off only the peel, unlike others that take a good deal of apple with the peel. I like the design, with the removable handle. I had a first generation of this peeler that I bought about 5 years and bushels of apples ago, but the affixed handle broke off. I was dismayed that this one was priced about $9 higher, but it is worth it! I just finished canning 28 jars of apple sauce, and look forward to more apple goodies using this peeler.

. We love apple pies and apple crisp and this apple peeler works great. The apple doesn't need to be perfectly round and it takes the skin off in seconds. Clean up is easy. There are so many companies out there selling gimmicks, everything I have bought by Starfrit, the price is fair and it is a quality product that works!

Professionally Trained Chef, I ALWAYS walk past these contraptions thinking " what a waste of $, time, space etc...". Well after almost peeling my thumb like a banana skin with a professionally sharpened peeler, I bought this.... ITS AMAZING!!!!! It peels apples in 3 seconds tops a piece- the WHOLE apple( then of course u have to core it)I finished preparing 4 apple pies to put in the oven in less than 20 minutes-- no lie!!!! It is excellent for the money, & I think better than the heavy metal types they sell for triple the price. It also comes with two VERY SHARP BLADES- so still, be very careful figuring it out the first few apples, potatoes, what have you....I just wish the Crank would not slip off. I'm actually considering "Gorilla Gluing " it to the aperture. Love ❤️ ❤️ it - Buy 2- One for Your Bestie!!!

This apple peeler is the best peeler i ever used. Ive owned at least 2 other types of peeoer which much more expensive and were NOT user friendly and were thrown in garbage after a couple uses. I just hope its easy and cheap to buy replacement blades. Although the 2 that come with peeler will probably last a long time , i suspect anyway. The only thing about oeeler that would have been nicer if the handle for rotating apple would stay attached to the peeler while using it. If u dont keep it lightly held inward while turning it, it will fall off. Not a real biggy but i think starfrit could have provided a clip or something to keep it attached while in use. It still deserves a full 5 star except only 4 stars for features.

the peeler was on backwards and the blade never connected with apple. . . so I took it apart to turn the blade and now I can't get it back together.

Not happy with this item. I read the instructions, tried several apples, and the peeler skipped over half the apple. It was very uneven, and I ended up having to peel it by hand, so I would not recommend this item.

I returned this because it doesn't work. It's not broken but it doesn't peel the apple at all. Waste of money. I don't recommend anybody to buy this.
