Stargate SG-1: The Complete Series (DVD)

What a definite bargain..If you are into this series like my whole family, then not only do you get to share something you all love, but a bargain and a half (another comepetitor (BB) was selling for $149!!!!! All you SG1 nuts, get here at Wal-Mart.com

the 1st binder was outstanding in copying. the 2nd binder had some problems there where stopage in some of the disc in all the seansons. i recommended that in the sg1 10 year collection the second binder of seasons be double checked for stopage and go on the disc.......... aj

Stargate is one of the best syfy series ever. Its fun to revisit. I agree with others that the packaging is awful. You need to be very careful taking the disks in and out. I'm only on the 5th disc and so far no problems. Great Value!!!

I was a little nervous about ordering this product, considering reviews mentioning scratched disks. But my boxed set was flawless. I've enjoyed the entire series and every disk has played just fine.

Nicely packaged and GREAT!! price. This is my son's ultimate tv series and we both enjoy it. Better than buying one season at a time. Too bad the Stargate on the box does not come off. It would be a great trophy over the tv.

I was very excited to get this set of shows and slowly let the story unwind. The box holding the disks is gorgeous. The "background" disks were fun to watch as well. The only downfall is that some of the disks seem scratched. I don't know if it is with the way they were packed after manufacture or just an issue with the box itself. That was disappointing. However, I have to otherwise recommend the product. It was well worth it!

You'll love being able to watch all the episodes back to back. My kids and I are SciFi nuts and this is probably our favorite series of all time. The actual product is a great value for the money, but I had to downgrade rating since the internal packaging was cheap and many of the disks have scratches on them causing the playback to freeze.

The price for the box set was great. Unfortunately when the box set arrived many of the disks had fallen out of the sleeves. This resulted in roughly a third of them being very badly scratched and unplayable.

So far, About half of the DVD's have scratches on the discs. They are installed in a cardboard box sets for all of the 54 discs, in 2 sets of the disc containers where the discs are scratched on the installation of the box. Most of them are running normal, but so far 1/5th of them have issues on the operations from a regular DVD player.

The quality of the actual discs themselves seems low. They are not smooth on the edges and make a terrible noise when I put them in my iMac. They work fine in a regular DVD player, but in the slot-load drives on my iMac and MacBook they are very noisy and I worry about damage to the drive.
