Nice item and fast
Excellent jack! When a tree fell in my backyard, I needed to remove limbs from the fence before I could start cutting it up. This jack proved to be up to the task. Currently, I'm using it for a motor puller I assembled, and its long extension is perfect for the motor hoist.
The jack functions, but the cylinder may get stuck due to the need to bleed out air. Initially, ensure the jack is filled with hydraulic fluid. Then manually lift the jack completely, unscrew the bleeder three full turns while pushing down on the cylinder to eliminate all air from the jack. Once the air is fully bled out, the air jack side works perfectly.
Okay, let's begin. It performed exactly as needed, removing a 350 Chevy from my boat. However, it did test my patience as it didn't work right out of the box. After the 5-day delivery wait, I eagerly installed it on the cherry picker, but things took a turn for the worse. Despite checking the fluid level and everything appearing fine, it still wouldn't work. I ended up taking the jack off the hoist, manually extending the shaft with the release valve open. Then, I inverted the jack, pushing down lightly to release trapped air. After the initial test, it partially jacked, so I repeated this process two more times, allowing the jack to rest upside down with the valve open for five minutes between each attempt. That's what it took for it to operate smoothly in my picker, and all is well now. Despite the extra effort, I would still recommend this product. Hank B.
It appears to function effectively, and the airflow is significantly faster than manual pumping. I've desired one for my cherry picker for quite some time. I had to drill a single hole in the base, but the process was straightforward. The overall quality seems good, and it performed well.
This has to be the fastest-shipped item I've ever received – excellent shipping! I couldn't be happier. Pulled it out of the box, and it fit exactly as I had planned in my drawings. Connected air at 105 lbs, and it worked seamlessly, as if it was made to work this way. Thank you, Xtremepower US, for providing such a fantastic item. - Steven M.
The absence is presently supporting a roof ridge, enabling me to realign the spread walls to their correct position. So far, the jack has proven to be very effective. I did need to add additional hydraulic oil to achieve a full stroke. Following this building reconstruction, I have several more special projects lined up.
I own a hoist that's over 40 years old. I had to make modifications to the attachment since mine was originally designed for a hook, which I couldn't find anywhere. I removed the old pin and replaced it with this one, using a new pin, and it worked perfectly. Contrary to some reviewers' comments about the handle, mine did come with one. So far, it's functioning flawlessly, and I'm satisfied with the price. The delivery was exceptionally quick. I would consider buying it again if needed.
We store this in our tornado shelter at home to assist in opening the door and clearing any debris that may be on top of it. Fortunately, we haven't had to use it for that purpose yet. However, I've also successfully lifted an SUV with it, and it performed admirably.
I purchased the jacks to elevate a house roof by two feet. Placing two jacks on heavy-duty shoring posts, I lifted the roof effortlessly. Given that the roof load was around 8000 pounds, using two jacks simultaneously made the task much more manageable.
