I was a competitive twirler years ago.. Now I use the baton for dexterity purposes in my hands. Great for physical therapy exercise.
High quality, but be sure to measure your arm first! Starline makes fantastic, high-quality batons that feel great in hand and handle wonderfully. They are nicely weighted—not too light and not too heavy—feeling just like what you'd use on a twirling team. Star Ends: I highly recommend getting the star-shaped ends! The star design keeps the baton in place when dropped so it doesn't roll away, which makes a huge difference compared to standard ends. Sizing Warning: I made the mistake of relying on Google recommendations instead of measuring my arm, and the 31" was way too long for me (Adult, age 30). The extra length made it really difficult to perform barrel flips and certain dance moves. I ended up having to scale all the way down to a 26"—which is a drastic drop! I highly suggest measuring your arm before buying and sizing down so you don't end up with one that's too long. Customization Tip: These are super fun to wrap in tape! I wrapped mine in washi tape and added a tiny drop of glue on the ends so it won't lift or bubble. It holds up perfectly, and if you ever want to change colors, it peels right off and cleans up easily with Goo Gone and isopropyl alcohol.
Fun, high quality, and great for adults! Starline makes some of the best batons out there, so if you're looking for professional-quality equipment, these are definitely it! Sizing Tip: I highly recommend measuring your arm first and sizing down. I purchased four batons total-two 28" and two 26"-so I could practice mastering certain hand rolls with shorter lengths. Even as an adult (age 30), both felt a bit long, but I've definitely been favoring the 26" ones. Customization Tip: These are super fun to wrap in tape! I wrapped mine in washi tape and used a small drop of 1800 glue on the ends so the tape won't lift or bubble up-it holds up perfectly! When you want to swap out colors, the tape peels right off, and any sticky residue cleans up easily with Goo Gone and isopropyl alcohol. Star Ends: I highly recommend getting the star-shaped ends! If you drop your baton, the star design keeps it in place so it doesn't roll away from you, which makes a big difference compared to standard ends.
Great quality. Haven't touched a baton since 1988. I can now teach my granddaughter how to twirl.
Very good quality and well balanced.
This product made a Lady very happy
My granddaughter is loving it 😍
I didn't measure correctly and ordered the wrong length. My daughter liked the feel of the baton, but it was way too short. The material is ok, but not the quality needed for competition.
The baton is not balanced.
Did not ship in a timely manner. Product received is so thin, it's meant for a small child who is over 5 feet tall. Also, baton felt very unbalanced as weight was not distributed in traditional manner expected. Would not recommend this particular product. Bought this to replace original baton I used years ago. Very disappointed in product.
