StarTech 2m 4 Position TRRS Headset Extension Cable with 3.5mm Male Mini-Jack Connectors, 28 AWG

It is really had to find an extension cable with a 4 pole connection to handle the controls on an an Apple or SOL Republic headphones with a microphone. I am very glad that I was able to get it and be able to use the controls on the headphones just fine. These should be kept at the local stores because I know that the Apple Store does not have these available.

I went by Radio Shack, they sold me a extension so I can use my credit card scanner from paypal because my otter box cover would not allow it to go all the way in. It did not work because it was not a 4 pole connector. I googled and found this one online and it works great.

I needed an extension cable for my Paypal credit card reader to connect to my iPad and iPhone. Both of them have cases and so I couldn't completely plug it in. Since the reader has 4 poles, you need a 4 pole cable. I then found a stand w/ a cable to mount my Paypal reader on ebay for $22. It came w/ an extension cable so that is what I am using now and using this cable as back up. But this cable is very good.

My wife and I just recently bought new phones. We also use the phones for our thrift store, we use the square adaptor for purchases,I had put a Otter Box phone protecter on mine and the adaptor wouldn't go completely in. This item is a great extension for adaptor.

Used this to extend the av cable of a portable dvd player and it worked great. Also tested it on my iPhone 5 and worked just fine with it. The buttons on the iPhone headphones still worked too!

I purchased this product to use a credit card swiper with an iPad that is in a child proof case. In most cases typical stereo male to female extender cables will not work for this as iPad credit card swipers use a special connector denoted by the connector being sub-divided into three metal bands versus two. Also, when using an iPad case, you have to be careful how fat the plastic casing is surrounding, especially the male end, is when using an extender. Otherwise it may not be blocked by the case and preventing it from being able to be inserted in the hole. This was very thin on this cable making it perfect. Overall, this worked flawlessly and I was impressed by the build quality.

I needed an extension for a credit card reader to connect to an iPhone in an Otterbox case. The problem is most don't allow for two way communication. This does and it works flawlessly at a third the cost of some others.

Walmart did a great job. The product does not perform as it should. You can't control the volume nor pause with this extension.
