It looks nice enough, but the drive gets way too hot when you're copying a lot of data on spinning rust. Running smartctl in Linux, the hard drive started around 31 degrees Celsius but after a few hours it was running around 45 degrees celsius. I eventually get hard drive write errors when it gets too hot. I even tried drilling holes in it with a drill press and it still overheats. I wish I would've just bought another external hard drive connector instead. Currently I have to copy a certain amount of files, unmount the drive, pull it out of the case to let it cool, then put it back in and copy more files.
