This cable works with Square Credit Card Reader
I search locally for some time with no success. This cable is truly a 4 pole cable with 4 pole connectors. Many cables appear to be, but are not. This cable allowed me to use the Square Credit Card Reader without removing my smartphone from the otterbox.

Exactly what I was looking for.
I work at home and converse with my colleagues via the internet. This gives me the flexibility to move around a bit more until I get a wireless headset.

Cable broke after 2 weeks of use and is massive
I purchased this cable to use with my mobile credit card reader and I have to say it's 3 ft long which is way to long, plus it's poorly constructed as after 2 weeks I needed to put electrical tape on it. The only reason this get's a 2 is that it's inexpensive but again who cares as it's broken and in the garbage. With that said, I found a much better cable that fits with my protective case Otterbox and works with my cell phone and tablet. It's called the "CellPay 3.5mm audio extension cable Otterbox compatible" made by CellPay Accessories. Here's a link for those that want it. The one I purchased is still a little long at 18" but they also have a 6" cable. It's a little more expensive but I've had it for 3 months and it is built very well and shows no sign of damage or wear unlike this cable. here's a link for those that are interested https://cellpayaccessories.com/affiliate/38/node/882
