I use the larger bags for freezing and they are wonderful. They seal great, the quality is fantastic and I can throw them in the dishwasher after each use. I purchased a starter bundle initially and have gone back and bought more because I like them so much.

We use them for EVERYTHING when traveling - snacks, vitamins, electrolyte packets, and anything else we want to protect. This size is particularly great for keeping foods fresh in the freezer, from fruit to cookies! Am so thankful for this product! Getting rid of plastic in my kitchen (and life!) has been a top priority, and Stasher has saved the day!

Especially with all the lawsuits that have come out for plastic bags, releasing micro plastics, I feel so much more confident, using a silicone stasher bag in the freezer! It’s a great way to freeze andstore fruit for smoothies!

Besides tomato sauce, tomatillo salsa and peaches that I can, I don’t really like the texture of most canned vegetables. I freeze green beans, corn, peppers fresh and roasted, eggplant, broccoli, spinach, chard, squash ravioli, daikon cakes, cucumber juice, shredded yellow and zucchini squash, scallions, LD onions that started to bolt, carrots and herbs. The half gallon bag efficiently stores and preserves the quality of my crop in my deep freezer, they taste just as good if not better than frozen vegetables from the grocery store.

Unlike the flimsy plastic bags I was using, these can easily accompany me wherever I go, room to room or even away from home in my purse. They are also a wonderful way to store my vegetables.

I first started purchasing them in order to discontinue use of ziploc bags but there are so many other uses!! I think I have at least one of each size now but the more I use them the more I want to do I keep adding! I bought this one for a great deal during the Black Friday sale. If you are wondering, it holds 3 pieces of pizza without them sticking together and keeps them fresh and you can warm them in the microwave in the stasher plus it’s a cool color!
