State Fair Jalapeno & Cheddar Mini Corn Dogs, 23.76 oz, 35 Count (Frozen)

I am officially hooked on these State Fair mini jalapeño corn dogs. They have become my absolute go-to because they strike the perfect balance of a nostalgic snack with a spicy kick that I really love. To get that restaurant-quality experience at home, I always deep fry them, the crunch you get is incredible and makes every bite so much better. Whether I’m looking for a quick meal for myself or a snack the kids will actually get excited about, these never disappoint. They are a permanent fixture in my freezer now.

Make your own dipping sauce. These spicy little finger foods are grat with Picante, Spicy Mustard, Buffolo Wing Sauce, Honey Mustard and Onion-SourCream, This is the "GOTO" snack food for adults and children alike. My favorite sauce is ketchup Tarter Horse-Radish.

I just tried these for the first time and I purchased the cheddar and jalapeno. Followed directions on the package using the microwave and after 50 seconds the cornbread coating was very soft. Cooked a few more seconds and they were still too soft, not like cornbread at all. A few more seconds and finally gave up. They were edible but not really great. The second batch I made in the air fryer. They were actually very good, just a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I would have preferred a little more cheddar flavor and a little more heat from the jalapenos but that's just my personal preference. It might be helpful to have some air fryer directions on the box along with the other options for heating. These were very good. I would recommend and yes, I will buy again.

I wanted to like these but they were just off in flavors. I feel like even though I crisped the breading really well, it just turn to a weird goo. The tiny hot dogs inside had a strange flavor, fake texture as well. Walmarts mini corn dogs are much better. Just get some of your own peppers out of your fridge.lol

I picked up the State Fair Mini Corn Dogs hoping for a bit of a kick, but they fell a little short on the "jalapeño" promise. On the plus side, the taste is actually really good, the honey-sweetened batter and cheddar cheese make for a solid snack. However, the jalapeño flavor is extremely mild. If you're looking for actual spice, you might be disappointed, but as a standard cheesy corn dog, they're perfectly fine.

Air fried them , maybe they are better deep fried but I just didn’t care for them.. My mom, daughter and I look all the time for the regular jalapeño and cheese ones because we love them, but can’t ever find them anywhere. These minis are a No Go for me.

The dog inside didn't taste good. Overall they were alright but had an off taste. The jalapeno taste was okay.. My kid and I weren't fans. We won't finish the box.

The batter had slight jalapeño taste. However, the hotdog inside was absolutely disgusting. Oh my gosh I can’t stop thinking about how horrible the texture was. it was like a soggy tasteless mush ball. I took it out of the cornbread and tried a bite and almost gagged. Will not repurchase and tossed rest of the bag.

Just AWFUL. No cheddar or jalapeno. Not sure what pictures these people are using, but they are not the same product that I purchased. Super mushy and just tasteless altogether. I feel robbed. I want my money back!

Can't taste the jalapeno or cheddar. All you can taste is the 10 tons of sugar they put in the batter. On top of that, the wieners they use are mushy and crappy. Would give zero stars if I could. Terrible. Terrible.
