I use this baking dish for individual servings of tamale pie. Its black matte finish on the inside of the pan allows for perfect browning. I love this serving piece to use for my "famous" crab dip. I serve it chilled so Cast iron i a great material to keep chilled in the fridge, it then keeps the food chilled when you serve it. I'm sure it would work great for hot dips too but It stays so busy right now, come winter I will try hot foods and I'm sure I'll be very pleased

I love to make individual mac and cheese in these, you can mound to a peak and the breadcrumbs stay put! I also use it for a few other things but my newest is to put BBQ sauce in it, keep it on the grill to keep warm, and be able to baste the chicken without dropping the temp from cold sauce!

I love pulling these out when I am having a dinner party so that all my guests get their own dishes. Because these are made out of cast iron, when I bake macaroni and cheese in them, the edges get nice and crunchy. The handles on these are great so that I can grab them really easily.

One of my favorite things to do is serve individual sides or desserts at dinner parties or even for my family. The best is a berry crumble or brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top served hot and crispy from the oven! I also enjoy these for appetizers...a small baked brie wheel is perfect in one of these. Staub matte black interior coating always cleans up easily.

These are great for individual servings of dessert or side-dishes. I use mine constantly and love them. They heat up so well and maintain the heat which is great for getting those crispy edges on things. I take them right from the fridge/oven and straight to the table for serving.
