These are good to have on hand for individual servings. I have a stack of them and I serve individual style at dinner sometimes, or good for small amounts of different dips, or sauces at gatherings. Serve hot or cold, the temperature will retain and warm dips will stay warm and cold desserts will stay cold. Great looking and great serving piece.

This distinct size is perfect for individual baked dishes. Since my family has different tastes, this makes my life easier. Some with cheese, some with breadcrumbs... This is a very useful size. The handle are perfect for transferring from oven to table. The cast iron is second to none!!!

These dishes are so cute and are the perfect size for side dishes. I love that they are made out of cast iron, so that the side dishes will stay hot even when they are on the table. Also, if you cook things like macaroni and cheese or potato gratin in these dishes, the outside gets nice and crispy.

These little dishes are perfect for hot or cold dips or spreads. I have a few and put them out at parties! I can have hot dips stay hot in the cast iron and cold dips stay cold, just by keeping in the oven or fridge until ready to serve. Better than ceramic, cast iron holds temperature longer.

This gratin is great for making small side dishes, in our house that means mac and cheese. Its black matte finish on the inside of the pan allows for better browning, braising, and roasting. Looks great, cooks great. Perfect for casseroles, gratins, and my all time favorite, eggplant parmesan. The cast iron browns beautifully, and looks gorgeous on the table. Keeps food nice and hot, and is so easy to clean. Love that I can prep, and then store either in the refrigerator or freezer. These are heavy duty cast iron, made in French and made to last a lifetime and then some.
