I use this for baking, storing food, casseroles, and pretty much anything you can think of. It can go from the freezer to the oven up to 500F and also in the microwave. The ceramic will not absorb moisture, it actually helps keep the food moist. The heat retention is amazing and will keep your dish hot for a longer period of time than other bakers.

Theis size offers lots of advantages. I can get 3 of these across my oven or 4 if I turn them sideways. This works well for me as I often prepare dishes for each of the kids to take home to reheat.
