I bought two of these as gifts and both recipients say it is useful and very sturdy. One used (so far) to scoop peanut butter from the jar for a recipe and the other for stirring a very thick stew.

This spoon is the best ever!!! Doesn't scratch my cookware—as some hard plastic utensils do! And its shape helps scrape those tasty bits off the bottom of the pan. I call it my no scratch Roux spoon!!

Tossing out one at a time my cooking utensils and adding all Staub ones. Money is tight so, I just get one at a time. Eventually, I will have a whole drawer of them. So sturdy and mixes thick batters really well.

I bought the complete Staub cooking utensils and so far this is the best and the one that I use the most however the tip broke. You may think that I used it on something sharp or something like that but NO! I cook on either my Staub cast iron pots or my Zwilling one. No room for damage.
