I buy both chocolate and regular animal crackers and mix them together in a cookie jar. Chocolate combined with regular animal crackers add a pleasant flavor enhancement to a low calorie snack.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know I should eat better but I am over 70, so mud on it, I am having a serving of Chocolate Animal Crackers and Coffee for Breakfast. Now, there's a way to start a happy day, by George! So, yes, I know, that guy is intent on having a war, and BOTH sides of Congress have forgotten for whom they work. Seems most in DC have forgotten their home states, and that there are REAL people living there. There's a long list of other things I can't fix. The few minutes I have my coffee, I can recall days past when it was enjoyable to wake up and start a new day with a Breakfast of Champions. Pick your own. Enjoy starting your day someway that makes you smile. Life can be shorter than you expect. You deserve more smiles.

Can't go wrong with these yummy chocolate animal crackers. With a touch of chocolate that is different from the original flavor, it takes care of that chocolate craving. I like to add some to milk for a little mid afternoon snack. Add to baggies and hide in your desk, bag and purse away from the kids.

These chocolaty animal crackers are just that, " a little bit chocolaty "! Not sweet enough for a " cookie" and not " salty" enough for a " cracker"! The perfect snack for young and old! the chocolate ones are hard to find in stores so i am ordering them online-- expecting that they will arrive crushed like most cookies-- but we'll see. if broken--they still make a great pie crust so all won't be lost!!! 1 --20 oz bag crushed will make two thin 8 '' pie crusts with butter pats mixed in and baked-- so at $2.00 a bag and a bit of work you will have a tasty pie base for 2 pudding pies or one great--thick crust for a 9'' pie-- as good as a premade oreo crust.

So fresh and and such a delightful chocolate flavor. What an excellent snack. Heck, I could eat a whole bunch of these and not notice, need to take out my allotted quantity and stop. These are really great and such a great value. Buy these in double quantity.

My grandkids came to stay with me for a couple of weeks before going back to school. Of course we head to Walmart to get snacks. They could each choose 2 snacks and I surprise them with one. I got them chips and they each chose Stauffer's Chocolate and Vanilla Animal Crackers. As soon as we got home, they opened both of their bags and poured almost all of the crackers. They had fun playing their made up game called, "Find The Cracker". I was the animal caller. The game ended with a tie. Two weeks went by so fast, and then back home . A week or so after they had left I was putting away some items in the pantry and noticed my grandkids had left some crackers. I opened the bag and there was about 11 ( eleven ) Stauffer's Chocolate Animal Crackers in the bag. I took out 1, ate it and it was so good. Why didn't my kids INSIST that I try one when they offered. Why didn't any anyone tell about this cracker? It was a delicious. Okay, the cat is out of the bag. When I feel the need for chocolate, I reach for Stauffer's Chocolate Animal Crackers. They are a good snack, great with milk. I went to Walmart and they had the 20 oz. bag of Stauffer's Chocolate Animal Crackers for only $2.08 Okay, I am telling all of you now, " Go Get This Cracker" you will love it.

These have been my go-to snack for years. I could only find them at Walmart, and I preferred the chocolate over the plain. I hadn't bought any in a few months, so I added a bag to my order. To my surprise, they were utterly terrible. I had to do a double-take and check the expiration date. Still good for 7 months, but they upset my stomach. It feels like there's a quiet rebranding effort to make current products worse, pushing people toward newer, three times more expensive items that offer half as much. They think we won't notice, but those who do—usually neurodivergent folks like myself—depend on consistency. I hadn't dealt with a bad batch in years, so this seems intentional. I would have preferred they simply pulled the old product and moved on, rather than ruining the last bit of joy with a terrible recipe change. I don't like the deception, so I'm choosing to stop buying Stauffer's products for my family and me. If they're willing to sabotage their own products, how can I trust them for my own safety, let alone share them with my child? Teddy Grahams did the same thing. The end of an era for a beloved snack and comfort food.
