I feel it work good no need to change batteries
Love this camera and all the features! The solar battery back up is amazing too! The app works great and customer service was on point during initial set up!
The Sol-Pak chargers work great with the Reactor cameras. Eliminate the need to go out to change batteries--view and retrieve the images you want from anywhere.
Great quality photos, learning to configure, great blending against trees, sharing and alerts what was needed.
Stelth Cam Solar 5000mhz power supply is great. I was changing batterys ever 4 to 6 weeks. This was getting expensive so I opted to get this solar panel / lithium ion battery system. Haven't had any issues on the first unit I purchased 2 going on 3 seasons ago. I never take my cameras down so this has been in the feild 24-7 for that time. The only thing I would suggest to the MFG if these would be to redesign the hinge and pivot adjustment. It is a little on the week side. It works and hasn't failed yet but that is due to the care I took when I mounted it and the extra support I gave the battery and the solar panel. Its mounted on an old fence that has triangular rails. I mounted it so the battery layed on one of the angles and the solar panel is at the perfect angle on the other side facing south, couldn't ask for a better support. It this was sticking out where it could get side swiped by something passing by I dont think it would take the abuse and it mor than likely would stress the plastic and it could crack and or fail.
Great product.
I wanted more power for the trail camera in a remote location that I did not want to disturb. Yes, you can build your own or buy a solar panel for less money. After seeing the thought of design and build quality of the 1000 mAh model, I went with this. I see this as more durable, more solid mounting, secure cable connection, easily lockable with Python cable lock, and metal encapsulating sheath for the cable. Time will tell how long it will stay charged to power the trail camera.
