Absolutely great keyboard - I switched over from a membrane one and still can’t get over how responsive it feels. It’s not fully mechanical, so if you’re a hardcore clicky geek, this probably isn’t for you, but the feel is still really satisfying. The adjustable actuation is brilliant, and the customisation/macros are top tier. One thing I also genuinely love is SteelSeries GG and how it changes the keyboard lighting depending on what’s happening in-game. For example, in Dota everything goes red when you die, then switches to turquoise when you respawn. It also highlights active abilities in different colours, which is a really cool touch and makes the whole experience feel much more immersive. The only downsides I had to get used to: first, there’s no extra space on the left - the keyboard just ends there, so my pinky kind of awkwardly hovers off the side when I’m on QWER. Second, the tiny cursed Enter key. That one is more personal preference than an actual flaw though, and definitely something you adjust to over time. Also, you can put a cat animation on the OLED screen, which is obviously important.
The clicks feel nice and solid but not overly loud. The OLED screen is neat and useful if you want it to be. Mine just has Pac-Man on it.. the wrist rest of to die for and is magnetic so easy on and easy off!
This was the first time I did an upgrade on my computer peripherals and I decided to invest in a quality product, I was not disappointed. The key sounds are not only pleasant, but each key is extremely satisfying to use. I look forward to continuing to use Steel Series products for all my gaming peripherals moving forward
I bought the product a couple of weeks ago and it is the best keyboard I have ever owned and I have been programming since just after the Dinosaurs went extinct.
This is a great keyboard, the switches are satisfying like no other I have had so far. And the deep customization is beyond anything you will ever need : P
I bought this keyboard about a month ago and I'll tell you right now - it's immaculate to move to this bad boy from a mechanical keyboard. There's almost no resistance to you touching the keys, quite literally like a knife through butter. The overall feel of materials feels premium and the software leaves much room for customization. Basically anything you've seen a keyboard do you can set up here. As for downsides, I've seen others talk about the low quality of LED screen thingy, though I can't confirm nor deny that since I've had this keyboard for only a month at this point. I've also seen people dislike it's rigid cable, though it's a given when you have 2 cables disguised as 1 (1 for pass-through USB & 1 for keyboard itself). If any of these is a deal-breaker for you then you might have to consider other keyboards, but aside from these it just feels like THE perfect keyboard. Definitely a product to recommend all my friends.
Nice tactile feel
No doubt, love it. My first magnetic keyboard experience.
Button are tactile and does everything as advertised
Bought this, almost from day one, lights turn off.. I have done everything I can do, to stop it.. The only way to get them back on its to unplug them.. The seller will do nothing.. All this money and the light won't stay on. Crap! Don't buy!!!!!!!
