Great Sounding and easy to setup and use

Colin October 27, 2025

I enjoy that this headset includes dts spatial surround for audio so its set up once and forgotten unlike the newer headsets with sonar and many profiles.

The best sound quality I've heard on a headset

Anonymous October 2, 2025

I bought this a month ago and I don't regret it one bit. I could wear them for hours.

amazing quality

austin July 23, 2024

sound quality is honestly much better than my astro a50s (3rd gen) and they are much more comfortable as well the ear cups fit completely around my ears so no soreness from pressing my ears down and the battery being removable and coming with a second one is amazing

Even better than I thought!

Captain Kind September 16, 2025

Out of the box I was worried this headset didn't have a second dial to control chat/game volume. What I didn't know is that you just need to click on the volume dial to get access to all kinds of different options, which you can easily see from the hub provided with the headset. The sound is great, it's comfortable as heck (no soreness even though I wear glasses), and the second battery keeps me from ever having to plug the headset in when I'm wearing it. If you're new to SteelSeries, this is a great product to start with.

Swappable Batteries = Less Wires

Birch May 4, 2025

I decided to upgrade to these after my Arctis 9 set finally bit the dust. My biggest complaint with my old set was the extra wire to charge the headset on my desk, as well as an issue where they'd turn off randomly every so often. This set doesn't have either of those issues. My singular complaint is this set is tighter than the old one and it's taking a while to get used to it. I love using the different EQ options in Sonar, and being able to just swap out the batteries when needed. It does come with a little foam mic cover, not sure if it actually does anything but I use it anyway. I had actually recommended this set to my friend 2 years ago due to her set dying and her wanting less cords for her cats to nibble on. Glad I caught this one on sale and am able to have my own now.

Solid headset

davidismorbid September 21, 2025

I bought this few weeks back and it is really good headphones, sound is great, the headband is comfortable, they look good, features are non-lacking, however I have a big issue with the product : the white noise. When no sound is playing, you can hear a light "shhh" in your ears, probably from poor interference shielding as reddit users suggested. Still a great purchase if you don't have really sensitive ears/don't mind background noise

Amazing headphones!

CaptCooper August 24, 2025

I upgraded from the Arctis Pro wired headset. It can be a pain to work with the steelseries GG software but once you figure out what works for you the settings won't need to be changed much. If you have issues you can get on the steel-series discord and get help finding the info you need on the support site. The headphones themselves sound great you can find setup guides on YouTube for recommended settings. At first I got a slight headache using them from the new headband not having been used yet, however that only lasted the first couple uses and I have noticed no issues since.

The easiest setup I've ever seen

ZippyZeus August 12, 2025

This is basically a plug and play. I was extremely pleased with that. Plugged it in, headset was automatically connected to the mixamp. Software was easily to download and navigate. I loved that the software already had preset settings for different games that I can easily switch to. It comes with 2 batteries so I always have one charging and ready to go when the other one dies. The battery doesn't have the longest life but it doesn't matter cause there is a second one. Sometimes the chat noise cancelling would mess up my friends chat volume so I had to turn that off. Overall, great quality for great price. I'd recommend.

Confusing and glitchy, but good sound quality

cdrom November 5, 2025

The headphones are of good overall quality, especially the build and sound, but I did not find the GG software to be intuitive and ended up having to mess around with it quite a bit to get directional sound sounds to work correctly in game (sometimes it would seem to be inverted). It also took some finagling to get the balance between my game and discord chat to an acceptable level. Additionally, the display on the receiver unit glitches about 50% of the time, showing blank pixels or lines of pixels missing (see picture).

Great headphones if a few issues could be resolved

Beck August 27, 2025

I do like these headphones and the sound quality is good, but I have run into some issues with the headset. It is a fairly heavy headset and begins to hurt to wear them after only an hour or 2. The headphones never charge to 100% and take a full night of charging just to say 75% - though they do also last incredibly long after a charge, probably 8 to 10 hours or so. Lastly, and this is a big one I haven't been able to figure out, the sound quality goes way down when you have the headphones paired to a discord call and a game at the same time. The quality becomes worse than a pair of earphones you can get at a gas station. I considered returning these but I will probably hold onto them without a better alternative at the moment
