Have been putting off getting a new mouse and finally pulled the trigger. And now I'm regretting having waited. It's such an upgrade from my previous (Logitech) mouse which was actually pretty good. But the weight, response, feel, and application customization are far better than I had before. Nicely done SteelSeries
That's it, I really like the mouse, it's comfortable, compact, and it performs its functions well.
This SteelSeries mouse is AMAZING! For the price, it's a total steal. The sleek design and vibrant colors options make it a stylish addition to my gaming setup. The mouse glides smoothly across the desk, and the click is satisfying and precise. Plus, it's super ease of use, even for my kids who love playing games with me. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with this mouse and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality gaming peripheral!
It's a very accurate mouse and all of the buttons are easy to get to without having to adjust your grip much. The software was very easy to use to program both the buttons and the RGB lighting. At its default brightest setting, the RGB lights are almost too bright, but are easily adjusted to dim them down a touch. My only issue with the mouse so far is just that it's much lighter and leaner than the 10 yr old corsair mouse it's replacing, and it's taking a while to get used to just how much thinner it is overall. That's not a knock against the mouse since it's just personal preference. Overall - it looks and works great, just takes some getting used to if you have larger hands or are used to heavier mice.
The mouse is amazing you can customize everything on it. I have large hands and the mouse fits my hand well compared to other brands, which was a nice surprise. I got to fine tune it to my style using an app. I already use the app for other items so it was easy to figure out.
Lots of buttons with great customization on the GG app. Comfortable to hold and very lightweight.
I never used to be brand specific in PC gaming but I originally got a steel series headset, then recently got this mouse and their Apex 7 keyboard. Love this mouse after having a Razer wireless mouse for years. Customizable colors, binding the extra buttons to whatever you want. The one that flicks up and down can only be binded as an already existing key, unlike the Mouse 4 %26 5 buttons that act as new keys which I usually bind as crouch %26 reload. I enjoy using the DPI clutch for sniping. The SteelSeries GG software is the easiest, cleanest, and resource friendly program I've used for peripherals. Even when using it for game clipping! The laser tracking is very smooth and it's nice not having to worry about a battery anymore.
Honestly, I needed a new mouse and was a little hesitant because I like mine a little blockier, but this has been a perfect fit. There’s a slight texture (kinda like a super soft sandpaper) that helps with grip, the lighting is fully customizable, and the cord seems super light and durable. 100% recommend.
Bought this for my son who does a fair amount of pc gaming. He likes it. Said it does exactly what it’s supposed to. Was worth the cost. Would buy it again if we need another in the future.
Steel series gear isn't new to me. I've been buying it for probably 5+ years now and I have to say I've really been enjoying it, otherwise I wouldn't keep buying it. I've had to do some replacements over the last few years like getting a new mat for my desk because the quick prism's LEDs went out and replacing my old steelseries headphones because the bracket had broken, beyond any repair I could make. But every time I get a new product it does seem like there's genuine improvement over the old and I think that's what is bringing me back. The new mouse is pretty good. I was running the rival 310 not too long ago until the scroll wheel sensor started giving out and too be honest I'm happy with the replacement. It has a comfortable hand feel and maybe it's just the fact that I have a mouse that works now but I really appreciate the dpi adjustments on this one compared to my old one where it was just slow or fast. My only complaint would probably be that somebody need the extra buttons are little tough to reach in gameplay and it's personally could see a little bit of adjustments. But apart from that I'm probably going to buy one for my fiance's new build coming up next month, and maybe some other steelseries gear too ;P .
