SteelSeries Stratus+ Wireless Gaming Controller for Android and PC

I love this controller because it works wirelessly on android and pc the steam app can help you set the controller up through the os app from the settings or you can just use it wired as well It does not work well with the xbox app but certain pc software can work as well regardless if you use steam It works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When receiving a new product like this the thing I like to do is use it straight out of the box. I will not read instructions just to see how easy something can be used. I was able to assemble the phone holder, as well as connect to my device. It makes game playing on my mobile phone so much easier. The controller has an eight way directional thumb pad. To analog joysticks, one right one left shoulder button, one right and left analog trigger. The controller also includes a forward and back button and A, B and X, Y button. It is very similar to a well-known gaming Consol controller. In the end I really enjoyed this product and I highly recommend if you like to play games on your phone but like the video game feel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This controller was extremely easy to connect to my Android phone via Bluetooth settings and to my PC with the included extra long cable. I love the feel of the buttons, they are clicky without the loud sound. The shoulder triggers really do feel substantially better than other controllers with their Hall Effect hardware. It's just very satisfying to press them. The phone holder is very slim and compact, making it that much easier to take the controller on the go. If you are new to using a controller the black lettering on the buttons will make it a challenge. Also, the plastic on the hand grip feels just a tad bit sharp towards the back of the controller and I wish it had some sort of texture instead of the smooth plastic.

He literally told me that I was the Best Auntie in the world for giving this to him!! He has an android phone and loves to play games on it constantly and this Stratus+ gives him a HUGE advantage over his friends now, he says this has really upped his game technique and speed, plus the ease of use, from opening the box to using it was absolutely effortless!! The price is right and this controller is just amazing and cool!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Stratus + controller has made it easier for me to play my favorite game. No more accidentally making the wrong moves while playing. Feels very comfortable while holding. The charge lasts forever, I play for a few hours every day and my kids also like to use it. It's easy for me to use with my phone and connecting to Bluetooth was quick. I've had problems with other products not connecting easily to my phone. I also didn't experience any lagging or disconnecting while playing due to using the controller. This controller can connect to my PC with the charging cable to play games. I currently don't play games on it, but I like knowing I can use this when I do.

This controller is a lot of fun to use with mobile devices because it not only works for gaming, but allows you to scroll through menu items on the phone in general. Setup with this controller is easy, and I had no problem pairing it with my Android phone. I did have a little trouble securing the phone holder because it takes a bit of strength to push into the controller. I also found out the hard way that the controller isn't compatible with all mobile games, so I had to check online to see what I was able to play. Once I was finally in game, the Stratus+ makes mobile gaming a lot more enjoyable. The buttons and joysticks don't stick, which leads to smooth quality gameplay. The controller also fits in a purse or messenger bag for travel, so you can bring it with you during long commutes, which I intend to do. However, I'm mainly using this controller for my PC gaming because it also works for PC and I prefer using a controller over the keypad.

I have small hands, and I was easily able reach all the buttons and switches on the top and front of the controller. The buttons are very responsive, and the joysticks have a smooth action with rubber tops, allowing for a nice grip for your thumbs. The controller quickly connected to my phone's Bluetooth when I turned it on and was easy to use for navigation. There are quite a few indicator lights on the controller, and I had to refer to the instruction manual to know what they all meant. Physically, I found the phone installation a bit cumbersome. There are 2 pins that need to be inserted into the controller. When I was trying to insert the pins, they had the tendency to fold back into the holder. It was a bit awkward to keep them out, but once I had them inserted, they held the phone well. Once the phone is installed on the controller, it becomes a little top heavy so if you have a large phone (the controller can accommodate up to a 3.5” wide device), this set up might not be as comfortable to use. My phone is a medium sized and I had no issues with the weight of the phone attached to the controller. This has become one of my travel staples so I can game in hotels or during road trips and has brought a whole new dimension to playing on my phone. The charger has a rechargeable battery that has a long life (90hrs), and so far, I would say that's pretty accurate.
