Steen's Pure Cane Syrup 2 oz

Although it was very much smaller than expected I am just so happy to have finally acquired this syrup. I have been after it since Lagasse had a cooking show. It stood up to all my expectations.

I must have had temporary insanity. way too much money for 2 ounces.

Never seen such a tiny bottle of syrup??? And it was like $10??? We love “Steems” syrup at our house but the cost was out of range, like WAY OUT OF RANGE, from anywhere even near what it has ever cost!! I thought I'd found a bargain when I found this bottle but didn't realize it was so very small!! It was so small that you didn't even have enough for a two stack pancake!!!?? I couldn't believe it!! But it was the real Steems so we enjoyed our few bites we got and have always loved, but I just can't believe it was soooooooo expensive! All the other size bottles were $38-$58! Just unbelievable!! Something is bad wrong with that !

We love this cane syrup. However this 2oz. Bottle was extremely expensive for it's small amount….maybe only one or two servings…

The price is a ripoff. This is the sample size typical of a restaurant single serving.

This is what happens when you get to trusting too much. I have had good results buying from Walmart and perhaps become to negligent in my own responsibility to double check what I am purchasing as I neglected in this case to check the size of the item being ordered. I had been comparing prices in the 16 oz varieties of syrup when this two oz. bottle got slipped into my search. Who would believe $9 for 2 oz. of cane sugar syrup. I feel like a trap was set and I fell into it. The bad taste of this deal left in my mouth will definitely go against Walmart for allowing this pricing to exist on their site. What a rip off.

Please make sure you understand the ounces stated. I was so disappointed. What can I do with 2 ounces of syrup?
