Not exciting but cute
This is not an exciting toy for a 5 year old. My used spice bottles provide more entertainment than this toy. It's cute, but definitely for a baby that is 18mo-36mo age range. You're literally filling it up and dumping it out. But it's cute!

Awkward to use
As it fills with water, the baby pops up. If you hold his head, the bottom rains like a shower head. However, it claims it will squirt water from his mouth if you push down on his head. That is not true. He's a little awkward and clumsy to work for small children. But he is cute, and makes a nice tool to rinse soap and shampoo off.

Water does not squirt out the mouth as shown in pictures. it just falls out the bottom. my son loves it, but doesnt work properly.
