This is a quality item and worth the purchase. We've had so many different types of bins in the past from touch less to all stainless steel etc. and it was all a waste of money compared to this one. Garbage bags fit perfectly, and even though there are two compartments, it is easy to clean and put replacement garbage bags. Definitely worth buying!

This "The Step N Sort 11 Gallon, Dual Trash and Recycle Bin with Slow Close Lid is unlike any other trashcan I have ever owned. It has so many features, which is uncommon for a trashcan. It is dual sided, where it can have a trash bag on each side, which has it's each own individual trashcan. Both of which have their own handle for easy lift out to empty out each side of the trash can. There is a foot push button at the bottom of the trash can on the front which opens up both sides of the trashcan simultaneously. Or if you prefer to open each side of the trashcan on it's own, it also has 2 hand push buttons on the top front, one for the left trashcan and one for the right trashcan. This trashcan is way better than my previous because it does not take up near as much space and I love the lift out handle feature. I would definitely recommend this trashcan to anyone young and old. If you are in the market for a new trashcan, then this is definitely the trashcan for you. I love it

For years, I’ve tried doing my part in reducing waste and recycling when possible. Having a reusable container is a great way to store your recyclables. I’ve found the Step N’ Sort 11 Gallon Dual Trash and Recycle Bin to be a effective tool to keep your smaller items set aside until disposed of. This bin has two convenient, removable plastic bins that both have separate covers and release buttons. There is also an option of stepping on the bottom button that will open the entire cover and slowly closes after removing your foot. This bin is great for containing items such as cans, small plastic objects, broken down cardboard etc., but you’ll find it can fill up fairly quickly due to its size. I’ve personally found this dual bin to be very effective in separating mail or documents that need to be shredded and disposed of. It’s really a great size for an office or it can fit nicely in a corner of a kitchen. Overall, this is an effective, durable recycle bin for smaller items that is worth giving a try.

The Step N’ Sort 11 Gallon, Dual Trash and Recycle Bin with Slow Close Lid is a very convenient trash can if you are type of person who prefers to recycle things. This trash bin is actually a two bin container wherein to access each bin is that you have to press the top lid of either bin in order to access the bin you want. In my case, I want to sort out my recyclables which are mainly cans and plastic bottles. Hence I have assigned one bin each for cans and plastic bottles. Once they are full, you just step on the stepper to lift up the main lids and then you can individually remove and empty each respective bin and place them back. It’s all to simple to use. And though it may be white, it is steal easy to clean a damp to wet cloth should to the trick. But for harder stains, bleach can be used to removed stains. And generally this can also be washed using soap and water. And though this trash bin is a fairly simple, it is a highly useful addition to your kitchen or wherever to sort out your recyclables. But needless to say you can also use this to sort out trash – one bin for food and the other bin for general trash like paper and stuff. I’d highly recommend this trash bin for others.

This is so wonderful for saving space. The lid easily lifts with the foot lever or you can just press the top levers for one or the other. I really like this double bin. It's the same size a my other trash bin but seems to fit the same trash bags same amount of trash (the old bin was moreso top heavy) I love this!

This container has several cleaver designs that make this very useful for multiple purposes. When you step on the bottom lever, the entire top opens and exposes two separate plastic bins. Each bin has its own handle that you can easily lift up and out of its cradle and one can easily carry that container to wherever you desire. You also have a choice of just opening the lids one at a time on top. The two top lids are two different colors so there is no confusion which side to open for your purposes. The main lid is soft closing. This container also has a recycle sheet that you can use as a label and attach to each lid using your own tape. The overall size of this container is 13” wide 17” depth and 22” high. Each inner bin is approximately 12” x 8” x 18”. It uses the 11 gallon sized trash bags. Each inner bin stands by itself and then fits snugly in the cradle of the bin. Besides being an awesome recycle bin, you could definitely use it in your vehicle for wet items, such as towels and swimsuits on one side and pool/beach toys on the other side when you go to the beach or pool. You could even use it in a small child’s room for their laundry basket and they can learn to separate their clothing for wash day.

Happy with it because it is pretty and dual trash/recycle bins in 1. Handy to have a foot pedal plus hand latches. Price was right on Walmart for this at $36. Luckily the FedEx guy handled it gently so it didn't break, a common complaint. I ordered stickers for trash/recycling so it is easy to see which side is which. Was going to get a fancy stainless steel one, but then you have a high price tag, and fingerprint smudges. This is great for a small household of 1-2 people, if you take the trash out every day or every few days.

Love this item, I have kids and they love the sort.
