Step Stool with Tall Handle, Steel, Rubberized Platform, 16” Long x 12” Wide x 34” High

Bought this to help me get into bed after knee replacement surgery. It was super easy to assemble with a screwdriver and the little tool included. I'm a big person, so when I first stood on it I was surprised at how sturdy it was. It not too heavy to move around and the rubber surface and leg ends make it safe. My friend saw it and immediately said she wants one!

This step stool was easy to put together. It's very sturdy and easy to move around with its tall handle. The handle also is good for leverage when stepping up. I'm very happy with this product. It came earlier than expected.

once I got it figured out (since I'm not not a great direction reader) it was a breeze. You do need to bring your own screw driver but everyone has one of those. It is tall enough to make reaching the tub easy even for a crippled old man like me. It is very steady, just needed a cane for my spare hand and it was rock solid.

I'm 80 years old and not getting taller. This stool is ideal for those extra inches in reaching taller shelves while providing a support to hold. The tall handle is ideal for moving it to other locations without having to stoop down to reach the stool.

support handle needs to be one piece

Putting on the legs was easy, they screwed right into the base. But the handle had 6 nut and bolts. They were difficult to get tight. It was as though the nuts weren't threaded all the way through. One of the side of the bolt was tapered and that is were it seemed that the bolts weren't fully threaded.

I like the stool part. However the handle has issues. There is not enough support at the bottom where it meets the stool. If you put your weight against it for support it will likely bend away from the base. I also don't find it tall enough for my short height.

The bench works great to help my wife get into bed during her rehab after hip surgery.

I purchased this item for my mom. The product arrived in a timely fashion; the directions were very easy to follow and understand. However they did not include enough parts. What was needed was washers to help support the screws and bolts which came with the product. After I had assembled everything the handle was so wobbly, not sturdy enough for someone to hold onto, especially an elderly person. I added a washer behind the screw head and in front of the bolts which cause the handle to tighten up very nicely. So far it is still holding up time will tell, if not the bottom part is very nice and steady. I still will not let my mom use it because I am a little skeptical. All of this was mentioned in the reviews but I took a chance and ordered it anyway. Other than that I would have given this product a 5 star rating.
