High quality plastic, cute design. It's really great that it comes with a nice lid. Big enough for a couple of 3-year-olds or toddlers to play in together. We put 100 lbs of play sand in, which seems more than adequate for our 18-month-old to play in (I'll even sit in with her sometimes).

This could fit 4 toddlers like 5t size. I wouldn't even bother getting the turtle or the small smaller stand-up crab unless you only have one child it's gonna be playing in it in this approximately took three bags of sand to fill up. Dont buy sand here get at lowes.-

Purchased for my grand niece (great for toddlers) with love from her Maryland family. Simple set up: remove from box, fill with sand (sold seperately - Lowes' sand is much cheaper than WM!) and it's done. The lid is easy to get on and off and it's great for keeping out bugs, animals and rain. She loves it.

This sanbox is on the expensive side, but it is much bigger than the other crab one i bought and returned. This one had room my 6 yr old and 1.5 yr old granchildren to play.

Hard to find a toddler sandbox that is one continuous piece of plastic to keep water out. So far this one has been a great buy. Water tight, lid stays put even in severe wind, not very big, but big enough for my needs. Only thing is I wish it came in a more neutral color.

Very happy with this, my 4 year old grandson loves it. Was considering buying the turtle but this one was worth the extra money as it is bigger, more room to play. The "seat" area is not very sturdy, it sinks in when he sits on it & he's only 35lbs, but no matter, he likes sitting in the sand anyway. The cover has kept the rain out and yet is still light enough for him to lift the cover on & off himself. Perfect!

Bought this for my 2 daughters (1yr & 2yrs old) the reviews were the best ones I had found . we live in the country and I wanted something to keep animals out of. We bought 3 bags of 50lb play sand for it and it filled it up enough for our 2 . this sandbox has given them hours of play time outside and the 2 small areas for them to sit on the side are a nice extra as our 1yr old doesn't like sitting in the sand and cries. The rain didn't really get in the box either we had a small amount get inside but it was a really bad rain storm I was very surprised as light as the top is that the wind did not blow it off.

Overall seems to be a high quality outdoor toy. Holds a lot of sand, definitely room for multiple kids. My only complaints would be that the claws aren't really sturdy enough for my son to sit on, and the lid doesn't have anything to keep it from blowing off in high wind. Otherwise satisfied with the purchase.

Too small for a 2 year old. When she sat in it, her feet touched the other side. No room for toys. We purchased the much bigger one; small design and cover.

Box was beat up as usual. I open it up and It looks used!!! It has a sand ring around the inside like a water line? a stopper missing on the bottom, scratches, and dents all over %26 on the shell. I dont have time to order another? Im afraid it won't get here!!!!
