Step2 Deluxe Art Master Desk Plastic Kids Activity Center and Table

My grand daughter got one for Christmas last year and her brother just wouldn't leave it alone so he we got him one for his birthday and they just love them, they sit and do their school work, use the art area to create new projects and even play games, listen to their music and read..all in all the best money I have spent on a gift for them. Easy to clean, durable and multi-use areas.

In my head I thought this desk would arrive with pieces that snap into place. Instead I received a bag full of screws, confusing instructions (thank goodness for the pictures), and pieces with no holes. Trying to drill the screws thru the plastic without pre drilled holes by hand without electric tools while holding two pieces together and still was a bit more difficult and a lot more frustrating than I would have liked. Also the chair did not just pop into place as indicated. I had to phone a friend who came with a friend. We all gave it a few goes. When it finally popped into place we high fixed and picked it up to put it under the desk so we could take a picture and it fell apart. I gifted it that way having completely given up. Overall once I got it together I was in love. It's sturdy, looks just like the picture and is just the right size and shape. I bought this for a friends daughter and I know she will not only absolutely love it but get to use it for a few years. I recommend this product, but advise you bring a friend to help out it together.

Our two and a half year old loves this desk. She is big for her age and the desk is the perfect fit with room for growth. She loves the storage and it seems to make her feel like a “big girl”.

Excellent for our 3 yr old son. Easy to put together, though you do need a power drill. Easy to wipe clean if you use washable markers and crayons. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

this desk was perfect.the image did make it appear much smaller as i worried my 5 year is almost 4 foot tall and has plenty of room .loved all the storage room it holds everything

Was a bit disappointed. I have bought Step 2 products religiously since my kids were young. Buying now for grandkids. Was disappointed in product as it came heavily scratched up. But Step 2 is very difficult to return. Only 10 days to do so. In that you must request permission to return. Pay for restocking n shipment. Not worth it, losing like 1/2 of what I paid for it.

It's great once it's put together. The instruction booklet had pieces labeled, however, it would be a lot easier if they were labeled on the piece itself. a with a b with b, and so on. when it came time to put the screws in, there were no holes. I thought I was going crazy, but the instruction booklet says to make the holes yourself for the screws. The first hole I made was too big for the screw included in the box. Being that it was Christmas Eve, I had to search my house for one. The chair was difficult to put together as well. Any other art desks my other children have ever had were not this complicated to have to put together. Like I said, it serves as purpose once it's all put together, but more trouble than it's worth.

I couldn't get this back to the store quick enough. For everyone who said this was "easy to assembly" or "easy to put together", must have been paid to write the review. There is nothing easy about this product, even to get it back in the box was difficult. You will need a power drill to make the holes for the many screws that come with it.
