Step2 Lakewood Extra Large T4 Mailbox with Post Kit and Magnetic Closure

I added a yolink hall effect door sensor before I did the install. I used some expanding foam insulation injected into a hole on the one side, I also put a small splint on the door for the other sensor. I cut my post a little short, as the extra space under the 'crown' piece can provide space for batteries, electronics for future camera? I wish the manufacturers built in spaces and locations to add these things?

Directions incorrect , if you put 4x4 in ground as directed your pole will be 2 short , you need to purchase a 8 ft 4x4 and cut it after in ground to fit the column that holds the entire mailbox,

Love love love it. I can now have my big packages delivered without searching which door or driveway the driver placed them. They now deliver most of them to our mail box. I would highly recommend this mailbox.

Love this mailbox, ie; classy appearance, color combo, the lg size %26 ease of installation. I'm sure my mailman will appreciate the size as well - less frequent trips to my porch for pkg delivery. Highly recommend to others!

Like the size and made with quality materials

This mailbox is very large and we were not sure if we would like it but we love it. It is made sturdy and holds a ton of mail amd packages. Our mailman loves it too. No more trips to our front porch when packages don't fit.

It's big and beautiful! Our mailman is happier since he can put a box in it now vs. coming to our door daily. It is plastic but is attractive - has some cute touches to give a unique look. It even has a spot to add a plant hanger in the back to dress it up. We're enjoying it so far -- looks like it will hold up nicely.

It is very sturdy and easy to put up. However, the door was not cut right, was a bit warped and the magnet to keep it closed was very weak. The door didn't stick to the magnet very well unfortunately. I will have to get a latch or figure out why the door is not closing properly. I needed to get this mailbox to replace another that I bought last fall from Gibraltor. I loved that mailbox, but it the box itself was too far from the curb when put over the existing 4x4 post, so I needed to buy this one. It's good for the money but watch the door assembly. Mine just was not factory perfect.

this mailbox is extremely easy to install also it is extremely large which is great for my mailman to put all of my packages in. I will say this mailbox is extremely durable as we have made it through quite a few Western New York Winters with it also had a Chevy Silverado High Country hit it.
